I returned to the Piper Tavern for a business lunch recently.ad usual, the food is good, there's quite a selection and it's reasonably priced.
On this trip I had the Rachel sandwich, a version of a Reuben made with Turkey instead of pastrami. It was pretty large and came with lots of fries. It was good.
Of course, you go at lunchtime for the 75 cent vodka martinis! They were good too,
It looks like the Piper Tavern drew a pretty good lunch crowd for a Tuesday. The food, fair prices and those martinis definitely bring people in.
Are there negatives? My first choice for lunch was going to be the Doan sandwich, their version of a grilled chicken breast on a roll. It's been taken off the printed menu for some reason. Hopefully it returns.
I keep going back. It's a great place gif lunch or dinner.

While visiting New Hope, PA someone recommend Golden Pheasant Inn restaurant for dinner. So glad we went. The service and food were excellent. The ambiance as relaxing and romantic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and preparation. I was impressed by how organic and local everything was. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

We stopped into Luberto's late Sunday evening not expecting much but we are soo glad we did! The service is excellent as was the food. I had the dish with ham, peas and mushrooms in a marinara sauce over angel hair pasta. It was great and the portion size was large. My partner had the stuffed manicotti and she was "wowed" by the flavor. Again the portion size was large. Be prepared to take home a doggie bag. For dessert we shared a piece of the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. What a great finish. Did I mention, that this is a BYOB wine establishment. If in Dublin PA, or anywhere nearby, do make a point to stop into Luberto's. You will be glad you did.
Enjoy

I tend to eat at then bar and have always found this place enjoyable and homey. Very relaxed atmosphere with a surprisingly sophisticated patronage. I have always been made to feel welcome. The food is quite good to my taste. It's a bit rich but very satisfying. Three things amplify my experience. The female bar tenders are friendly and very efficient at the same time. No Television. No loud piped-in music to inhibit conversation. I will continue to return.

The Black Bass is located on the scenic Delaware River in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just 8 miles north of New Hope. The Black Bass is the perfect Bucks County setting to enjoy a fine dining experience in our riverside restaurant, more casual fare in our Tavern, or a luxurious weekend stay in one of our weddings or other special events as well as corporate meetings or gatherings.
on a cool, drizzly spring afternoon, what a perfect place to enjoy a birthday lunch. Cozy, with a great view of the river....Casey, our waitress was outstanding...friendly, attentive and helpful...tomato bisque soup & cream of asparagus soups were outstanding....main entrees could be a little better, but were very good....

Had chocolate softserve with chocolate sprinkles my favorite!! My guy had death by chocolate. Lots of cone choices (almost too many). A bit pricey to me for Ice Cream but it was cute and fun and they have nice little colorful tables and chairs outside to sit at! The girl that served us was very nice.

This is darn good pizza and Italian dishes! Homemade mozzarella and salads, plus homemade breads and desserts. Tiramisu is ut of this world! You can order hot to go, or choose reheatable dinnrs ,such as Lasagna and ravioli in the deli counter. They also ahve a wide variety of Italian cooking ingredients and lots of fine cheeses.

We go to the other OWOWCOW in Newtown also. Both have amazing flavors, like the blood orange raspberry, lemon blueberry, cashew caramel, 3 types of vanilla and so many other flavors. The ingredients are locally sourced. It is just the best ice cream I have ever tasted. So fresh and delicious!

Burgers & Beer, Lobster & Cheer Come and join the celebration at the Plumsteadville Inn. From our completely remodeled interior to our deliciously updated menu, we have something for everyone. Get cozy by the fire. Watch the game with friends. Or enjoy a meal that makes the whole family happy.
Haven't been here in years because of the distance from home, but last night was worth it. Place was crowded and our reservation was delayed because of lingering patrons. Once we got seated things were fine. Service by Ashley was excellent. Everyone else thought their meals--crab cakes, filet, pot pie, etc.--were good. My seafood combination was fair--tasteless--and the major reason for the Very Good--as opposed to Excellent--rating. The guitarist was excellent and played a varied repertoire. Bartender Mike was busy but excellent staying ahead of everyone's needs. This is a large place and I would recommend reservations. Casual/business casual is fine but be aware it is somewhat pricey.
