We’ve been to Ironwoods several times for different meals, brunch, lunch, and dinner and all have been a hit. The patio is a beautiful place to sit in the spring and fall, and the restaurant’s garden is a nice place to walk through after your meal, or to keep a toddler busy while waiting on your meal.

Step back in time in Pinehurst's most expansive dining room, offering breakfast and dinner daily. Executive Chef Thierry Debailleul's amazing menu features hand-selected aged beef and signature dry seasoning rub for our steaks and chops. Menus change seasonally, invoking the fresh flavors of the area and our local farmers' picks. The legendary breakfast buffet is known as the best in golf, and with good reason. Piano music sets the tone as you feast on made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit and Southern favorites.
The resort is a great getaway and the dining room will not disappoint. It's got the white table cloth feel with the Pinehurst pinazz. The guest dinners range from families to couples and the golfer groups- very diverse. All are welcome. We had a very tasty seasonal salad followed by the New York sirloin with creamy mash potatoes and sautéed Brussels sprouts. We ordered a side of the duck fat potatoes but they didn't turn out as good as hoped. The Brussels were the best ever eaten and the salad was outstanding as was the steak. Overall, it's a must visit when at the inn. The serving portions are very generous and good for sharing.

Named for the 1951 Ryder Cup held at Pinehurst, this casual restaurant and bar surrounds you with history. Located in the Carolina Hotel, The Ryder Cup's unique menu includes classic American fare with a twist. From the unforgettable Deconstructed Nachos to the BBQ Pork Two Ways, the Ryder Cup offers something for every appetite. Enjoy golf or other sports action on our large screen televisions or relax after a long day with one of our signature cocktails on the Veranda. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
Perfect place to get a bite to eat after a long drive. It is the bra, located within the Carolina hotel. It has two ample dining areas and you seat yourself. The menu has everything from hit and cold appetizers to main courses and sandwiches and salads in between. The portions are big...even the burgers can be shared! Wine and beers are pricey, but I guess you cant have it all. Would definitely go back.

This was a "Mystery Tea," one of their monthly special events that featured a mystery writer, telling about the joys and travails of writing mysteries. Funny and fascinating.
The company was cordial, the food (especially the tea) was excellent. Wish we lived closer; we would go all the time!
NOTE: RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST!

Fine dining, casual atmosphere
We found Nina’s through Trip Advisor. It was an excellent choice. Their specialty appetizer, Fried Green Tomatoes, was served with a goat cheese topping and aioli and balsamic vinegar to taste. Out rack of lamb was seasoned perfectly and cooked as ordered. Don’t miss the Lemoncello cake for dessert.

The 1895 Grille at the historic Holly is a Four-Star dining experience in every way. Serving breakfast and dinner, this intimate fine dining room features an exceptional menu straight from Carolina Farms to our tables. Our award-winning chefs also prepare nightly specials making each visit unique. Don't forget to order the triple chocolate souffle to cap off your perfect meal. Dress code: Dress slacks, collared shirt and dress shoes for men and corresponding attire for women. Tasteful denim allowed.
I ate breakfast here twice, plus a dinner meal with business associates. We ordered from a limited menu, regardless of which was quite extensive. Several of us had salmon; others had the filet. Wait staff were expert, although a little slow refilling water and tea glasses. I did not see prices but expect were "upscale". However the venue is very quaint and historic, and worth the money for the experience. The breakfast buffet was very good, but hardly worth the price being charged of $36.00 per head.

The Drum & Quill Public House is located in Old Town Pinehurst, the home of American golf. Our building has served the public for nearly a century, once housing the pharmacy and soda fountain said to be manufactured by James Walker Tufts himself, the founder of Pinehurst. The storefront was later converted to a pub, which it remains today. We are an historic "Public House" just as early public houses often were identified by simple signs that featured creatures such as lions, dolphins, elephants, bulls or swans so knowing how to read a name was not necessary to identify a location. The Drum & Quill Public House honors that tradition with the "Drum" represents Bob "the Drummer" Drum, a golf writer best known for his regular TV spot on CBS, and for his lifelong documentation of Arnold Palmer's creating golf's professional "Grand Slam". The "Quill" represents the power of the writers written word . Remember our motto - "Its More Fun To Eat In A Pub."
.The menu had so many choices that I had a hard time making a decision! I went with the Henny Penny and loved every bite! It was a wonderful combination of roasted Turkey, caramelized onions, and melted brie on toasted sunflower bread. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The sandwich was accompanied by the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. They were perfectly prepared and seasoned. My friends were equally as impressed with their lunch choices. We all agreed that it would be worth the 4 hour drive to go back to Pinehurst just to eat at The Drum and Quill.

A unique Pub in the quaint Village of Pinehurst, celebrating the game of golf, the great locals and locally talented musicians. Offering full menu & bar service 7 days per week, with entertainment Tuesday through Saturday.
Our family of 6 last night ate dinner there. Since we’ve been there before we where looking forward to eating.
We ordered our meals and 5 were brought and we were told the Shepard’s pie would be 2 minutes. After several minutes and the rest of us almost done my 81 year old mother in law finally arrived. She didn’t want it but accepted it.
Needless to say they charged her for it. That was in very poor taste.
We officially are removing Dugans as our go to place.

An extremely popular spot for the harness trainers, as well as repeat customers. When your food is served and you have finished, don't wait for a check - just go to the register and mention what you have. Cash only. Good breakfast staples all named with a "horse" theme.

Elliotts On Linden is a fine yet casual dining restaurant with a gourmet, farm to table philosophy. Perfect for romantic evenings, special occasions, and business meetings, Elliotts provides a relaxing yet elegant atmosphere. The casual side of Elliotts, The Roost, offers a full bar and dining menu. We're a favorite among the locals. Come check us out.
Nice farm to table restaurant not far from where we stayed. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. Our party of four had 4 different entrees, the guy who had the duck said it wasn't very good but the rest of us enjoyed our meals and appetizers. A romantic restaurant, not the best choice for 4 golfers but surely for foodies and that crowd. A solid choice, better to bring a date then golfing buddies.
