Presently the best chinese restaurant in town, slightly expensive , good is good, service leaves much to be desired. Considering the good decor, quality of food, service is a let down.
This place is close by the major hotels and permit office. It's reasonably priced, comfortable and convenient to the temple across the road for a post-prandial drink or snack. Portions are on the large side and spice profile is aggressive. There is a picture of Shanghai hanging on the back wall which should give you a clue as to the major influence. As a Shanghai resident I can attest the flavours here are legit. Indian/Chinese fusion as it should be done. Their chilli chicken stands up there with any other version I've had. Deservedly popular with locals as well as tour companies.

We had been eating Bhutanese food all days and were looking for change. So we opted this restaurant for lunch before departing from Phutsholing city.We ordered chinese. The fish/chicken rice ,soup were excellent. They took abt 20 mins for an order,we were not in a hurry either. The ambience is resonably good and its in the main market area.

Sunset is pretty early in Bhutan, so we had been to Kizom to sooth our mid evening hunger.
This cafe is full of young crowd.
As they offer free wifi, i feel many kids are there to have a coffee & enjoy the net.
We had ordered a Grilled Chicken Sand which with Coffee. food was good.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. This hotel is bang opposite to the immigration office, very close to the border gate, surrounded by shops & restaurants, just beside Zangdokpalri Temple & park. Another good thing is the in house restaurant. We had three meals there and totally loved the quality taste and quantity of the food served.
Just one problem we faced during our stay was that the hotel has no power backup so in case there is a disruption of electricity supply (in our case it was for an hour ) there is no backup facility.

Had dinner and breakfast in the place. Dinner was good though the quantity served should improve. Breakfast has fixed rates per person and has options like Puri and Bhaji, Bread, butter, eggs, fruit juice, corn flakes, etc. In Puri, lot of oil was present and...MoreDear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded your feedback to the restaurant team to take appropriate actions. Hope to see you again soon! With best regards, Jigme

This restaurant is a part of Hotel Kuenga. Very good location and situated opposite the Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang Temple. They serve delicious vegetarian food in reasonable price. Very good sitting arrangement though the staffs were not prompt enough.
