Locals rave about Take a Break in Dryden. We were not impressed and tried this place the next day. Much better food, service and cleanliness. The eggs Benedict was nothing special, but the veggie omelet was very good. Hash browns were good, but consider upgrading to the sliced fruit. It is a large serving of fresh fruit.

I finally made it to the Take A Break Café about a month ago-----had an excellent vegie omelet with country potatoes. Since then, I have been back twice with my significant other. Had a great breakfast on Father's Day. Only place in the valley where you can get good steel-cut oatmeal-----try it with peanut butter and honey---it's great. Not a fancy place-----but delivers better breakfasts than any other place in the lower valley, including the Wenatchee area.

When we first started München Haus, we had visions of an outdoor eatery and beer garden where family and friends could meet to experience a taste of Germany in the beautiful Alpine town of Leavenworth. It is with the help of our families and wonderful, dedicated employees that we are able to offer a unique Leavenworth dining experience.
I doubt that I will ever go back to Leavenworth for the Christmas lighting, it was way too crowded to enjoy the town, the shops or the restaurants. After looking around town, we decided that every restaurant had a ridiculous wait and decided to stand in line at the Munchen Haus.
We waited around 45 minutes to order, and then got our food after about another 15. The sausages were very good and inexpensive. They had dozens of mustards to try and special hot drinks for the holidays. Be warned, the eating area although heated, is outside and is a communal table experience.
I felt they did very well considering the overwhelming crowds.

Restaurant/bakery located on Commercial St, right behind Front St. We have a wide assortment of cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, wraps, soups and salads. Everything is homemade and of excellent quality. Gingerbread is our specialty, but we have other options galore, including gluten free, vegan and dairy free. Come check out the quieter side of town and beat the long lines on Front St. Serving Caffe Mela Coffee, a local coffee roaster!
This cute, little establishment makes great gingerbread items however has a very limited breakfast menu. In promotional maps it is listed as a breakfast venue; still the raspberry scones and breakfast quiche were tasty and the coffee hot.
Good for a quick breakfast, but if you’re after a full menu head down the road to another great local shop.

My husband and I were heading home from our visit to Leavenworth. I wanted my usual white peppermint chocolate mocha and husband wanted his triple shot vanilla latte with soy or almond milk. What was great is the service and price! Both drinks were nice and hot. Definitely will go back!

The gentlemen who was working the day we went was so helpful! Made me a delicious Chai latte and gave a great recommendation for dinner!

We went to Danish Bakery to have some dessert and a hot beverage on a cold, rainy afternoon.
After placing the order, I noticed the sign on the cash register, Cash/Checks only.
Although there’s an ATM inside, there’s a $3.00 fee for use.
The pastries were really good and the bakery was busy, although a few more tables would be nice.
There is seating for about 16 total with tables for 2.

This restaurant is chef owned and a great bustling place to have dinner in Leavenworth. I was highly recommended by our hotel concierge at the Posthotel.
We di not have a reservation (highly recommended) but they got us in. We were seated at a counter and we had a great time, there is a lot going on there but it never feels like it is too much. The food was very good, the portions were great and we can recommend the Watershed as a great place to dine in Leavenworth that is not trying to pretend something else on a different continent.

Been driving by this spot for years and was surprised when I saw the Rock being built. Thought originally it was tacky and so must the store....WRONG. This is a gem of a place. Good coffee, refreshments, snacks, and food to eat. When the weather is nice there is seating in back. The Rock I mentioned was built to copy the large rock outcropping behind the store....it is actually pretty cool. Everyone we met working behind the counter were friendly as can be. And, another plus...the bathrooms are super clean!!!!
We will stop here from now on....great spot.

We stayed in Leavenworth and were on the cascade loop we were recommended this cafe for breakfast .What a deal this was as they had half price half size breakfast omelettes on Wednesday .Just as well as we couldn't eat anymore .Service quick coffee plentiful and regular refills .Looks a bit of a shack from the outside but worth the stop
