Enjoyed 2 cups of coffee and lactose free hot chocolate.
A pleasant environment but due to the proximity of the tables outside to the door, cigarette smoke kept drifting in. Not the owner's fault, but impacted on us.
Coffee was good quality and a relaxed attitude by staff was very pleasant.

Schooners is a beach front restaurant with a daily changing seafood led menu serving big flavoured small plates and some big sharing plates with a few! Open fired cooking and smokey flavours are also high on our agenda. We are home to the longest bar in the local area serving a large selection of craft ales and lagers, some of our favourite cocktails and a carefully selected wine list that compliments the food we serve perfectly. We only use the best produce available and source our fish from local fisherman at the cove who deliver straight from boat to the kitchen and meat from local farms with some in-house butchering to boot! We are very proud to offer the BEST views in the local area of Trevaunance cove in all it's glory, a must see. We have outside Seating on the balcony as well as an upper floor for dining.
We only visited for drinks a couple of times but our little boy raves about the hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. A fab location overlooking Trevaunance Cove and we enjoyed watching a surfer out on the waves accompanied by a very friendly seal!

We ate here as a vegan/veggie family of four. There was a great deal of choice for us all and a separate vegan/veggie menu to choose from. All of the food ordered came quickly. The sweet potato curry was especially good. Nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

A group of 5 of us went in on the 27/10/2017 (half term week). We did not book and arrived at around 6pm. The staff were very friendly and its clear that the place caters for locals as well as those on holiday. The average price of a main and rice is around £10.50. They also do takeaway and there were a few people waiting.
Not long after we placed our order, two large groups arrived (circa 12-16 people per group). We sampled a couple of dishes that were specialities of the house and very tasty they were too!
I would suggest booking if you want to guarantee a table as its very popular.
We had a mixture of soft and alcoholic drinks and poppadoms to start. The bill for 5 us came in at £76.00 !
A very pleasant evening but glad we got our order before the large group arrived!

I think almost everyone enjoyed their meals here but service was not stellar (they did their best) and meal wasn't outstanding. I had a skillet of some sort and others had fish and chips. Again, not bad but not great.

This is a local family friendly indian restaurant and I would like it to be listed on your website. Its been established in Perran for over 10 years and is run by local people.
Just a comment , not managed to eat from here but collected a take away menu from outside the restaurant. We were staying a few days in the area and decided to take advantage of the Delivery service as offered on the front of the menu.
After a lengthy walk back to our accommodation we rang to place our order for the short Delivery by car only to be told that they do not deliver. This was clearly not the information written boldly in the front of the menu. So if you are planning a Delivery from
this place it won't happen. Call in and collect it then let me know what I have missed.

Wow. Couldn't actually believe this place.
Visited The Bolingey Inn on a weekday evening (6pm) based on excellent reviews on here as well as word of mouth. The place was practically deserted; two couples were dining. We went to the bar to get drinks and menus. We were then (rudely) informed that we should've booked (!?) and couldn't be accommodated.
We were absolutely astonished given the fact that there were 5 empty tables.
I would love to be able to give you a review about the food but it's not possible as they would t serve us.
No prior warning about pre booking, in fact there was a board outside promoting the 'excellent food served'
Complete joke, will not be returning. Ever.

You could so easily miss this place and go for one of the many other restaurants in Perranporth but that's where you would miss out big time ! My husband and I had...MoreThank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit and the food at The Stepping Stones. Looking forward to seeing you next time. Decided late to go for Sunday Lunch. Arrived at the Miners Arms at 2pm as most of the Sunday lunchers were leaving. We were warmly welcomed and allocated a table. Requested drinks were brought to the table for us. Only one of us had the planned Sunday lunch menu, I was tempted by the pie of the day - venison with mushrooms and my friend went for the fish pie. Despite the lateness of our lunch, our meals were served promptly, all dishes looked freshly prepared and were delicious to taste. To call the Miners Arms a traditional Cornish Pub grossly understates what it has to offer. Apart from the excellent menu choice and quality of the food offered, the staff are extremely efficient and courteous. Absolutely nothing to fault. Our meal was perfect.
