Actually more than just decent... The Vienna schnitzel is tasty and relatively cheap, coming in large portion which includes plenty of salad. Also, the homebrew beer is surprisingly good.
The ambient is fine, although the outside area wasn't yet open (end of April, beginning of May); it's large and located in the hotel's yard - certainly a nice place for dining.

the rather intimate restaurant is located a little bit off the main roads nevertheless easy to find.
we met friends fot dinner and enjoyed a fabolous "red cabbage soup" , goose liver grilled to perfection as starters , and as main course pheasant and according to the time of the year one 1/2 of an excellent goose with dumplings complete with red and white cabbage.

Gerne wieder.

Little hidden restaurant, but great food. Big variety on the menu, "tapas" at its best. + friendly staff + non-smoking + one of the most creative menu design i saw + luckily they have dishes that's not so spicy Worth to try!

Service great, decor great, restaurant great. However there is just something missing that make this place feel uncomfortable. Price is good, we got schnitzel and baked cheese, schnitzel was good, baked cheese was a bit bland.

Tischreservierung empfehlenswert.

There are many Heuriger to choose from in Perchtoldsdorf but this one has one of the nicest Gardens. The food is typical heuriger food and the wines are also the nice local wines. I would always choose a Perchtoldsdorf heuriger over the touristy places in Grinzing. You will see mostly locals here. For those uninitiated, you order drinks at the table and your food from the buffet counter inside. You can either order cold items from the counter (just point if you don't speak German!) or hot dinners that will take a few minutes to prepare. I am an American who lived in Perchtoldsdorf for 5 years so I am a bit biased!

This was just down the street from the hotel we were staying at in Perchtoldsdorf. It was amazing! It has a house type feel and you order from a deli case where amazing salads, salamis and cheeses are displayed. We tried a variety of things, including weinerschneitzel (sp?) and were never disappointed.
Each time we never paid more than 17 euro for the two of us to eat and have at least one glass of wine each, sometimes more.
There is a Darling garden area in the back to sit at tables and eat. We loved it!
We had planned on trying other wine houses but kept going back to the Weinbau Wolf!
