Is the postmodern grill-house which is a separate proposal for meat lover. In a beautiful space that works on two floors with a minimalist style decor, with stone and wood and an outdoor area with sea views. Here you will taste crisp and delicious gyros and juicy meatballs(soutzoukakia) and many thoughtful meat dishes having custody of I. Chantakis.
We visit during the last we went to Thessaloniki. Our friends who leave nearby suggested.
Everything was well made, in a rare combination of traditional foods with modern touches.
Mind the wine list; they have some truly interesting wines in affordable prices. It's worth open a bottle.

Anestis is a few hundred yards from Manolis but in my opinion serves better steaks and lamb than his brothers restaurant. Good range of wines and draught beers along with a fantastic selection of meats and chicken dishes,we walked past Manolis which was almost empty...MoreThank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful review! We' re very grateful for your kind words. We hope to see you again soon! At your disposal, Anestis Xasapotaverna.

Tavern "Thalassopoulia" "Seabirds" at pedestrian Beach of Perea Thessaloniki.A few kilometers away from Thessaloniki,we turn back time. The flavors, the images, colors and prices. We live and enjoy moments of seasons we have been missing. We expect you all.
It is great to enjoy food with your feet in the sand. The service was OK, although one of the waiters was very upset with something that he slammed the glasses on the table. The food was good, I think I had here the best Tzatziki in Greece (you would think that it is all the same but is not).

Owing to the reviews, this restaurant was definitely first on our list to try on our first night in Thessaloniki. Sadly this was where our excitement should have ended! The setting was old school with old furniture and fake flowers, which in the beginning added to the old school ambience. There were a few tables with people, but not busy in any way with two males serving these tables.
The food - my friend and I both ordered the Squid, one grilled and the other fried. We also ordered a Greek Salad and Chips as sides. It was a really large and good salad and nice fresh chips - not oven chips. Sadly the Squid left much to be desired… the grilled Squid was chewy to the point where my friend just gave up eating. My fried Squid was better but to be honest with such a high rating, I did expect it to be well cooked and tender and not chewy! But in fairness, less chewy than hers!
Why not complain - well we could have if the waiter actually presented himself. We had to go and find him twice just to get the bill. At this stage there was only two tables and it is not like they were busy. Furthermore the second table appeared to be regulars and it did not help that while our order was being taken, the waiter continued to have a conversation with one of the males at the other table. If this is a cultural matter, that I did not understand then I do apologise.
Again, this may be due to my ignorance but the cost of fresh Squid was 30 euros versus frozen Squid at 7 euros??? And of course they offer you an English menu, which has seen better days and had patches of mildew. Needless to say, we could not wait to leave but this was delayed. Would certainly not recommend this restaurant but can take on board that maybe they were having a bad evening.

Overpriced and rather mediocre food ,slow service and often noisy this place gathers customers over 50 years old due it's "legacy" ...It is considered to be one of the oldest taverns in the area but unfortunately it's a "ghost" of the past old days...Nothing special...

Friends brought me here as I was hoping for some mussels during my trip to Thessaloniki. The taverna has tables seaside and with the breeze, it was very pleasant. Our food arrived quickly and the mussels sagnaki were terrific. We also had great kalamari and some traditional salads. The only complaint is that both the fried potatoes and fried zucchini were a bit greasy. Service was quick and friendly.

Restaurant Nostissimo – Delicious Seafood and Meat right on the beach English Menu | Russian Menu | German Menu | Serbian Menu | Bulgarian Menu | Turkish Menu | Only 10 min from the airport | right on the beach „Paralia“ means „beach“ in Greek – and this is, where you will find our restaurant Nostissimo. During summer, you are seated straight on the seafront. During winter times, you can enjoy the beautiful sea view and the breathtaking sight of Thessaloniki from one of the most cosy and tastefully decorated restaurants in the area. All year round you can enjoy the delicaties from our kitchen.
Nicely situated. Modern design. Proper portions. Personnel: service was not as efficient despite the amount of waiters. Starters: we were never offered bread as in tables next to us. Salad was too sweet. Mushroom mix was too watery, while a different impression is given in the menu. Otherwise all fine. Main course: all was well cooked and tasty. Clean rest rooms. The bill was 26 euro a person, which is relatively high, given the amounts ordered.

Well cooked sea food served in a nice cozy environment. Amazing home made tsipouro and raki. Angela Alexiadou is the best hostess. I would personaly need a larger viriaty of choises.
