If you're looking for some great Florida beaches but aren't necessarily interested in a mega-resort or theme park atmosphere, Pensacola might just be the place for your perfect weekend. Home to Gulf Islands National Seashore, the city offers some of the best fishing and boating in the area. Inland, canoeing enthusiasts won't want to miss the beauty of the Blackwater River. Closer to town, the city has a proud military heritage, which can be seen at attractions like the National Museum of Naval Aviation and the Pensacola Naval Air Station.

Visiting Joe Patti's is an experience I highly recommend. Incredible customer service and quality product. A visit can be overwhelming. I definitely recommend the breads; both Italian and Sourdough. The Clam Chowder is to die for (to be honest, I wasn't crazy about the seafood gumbo that much). The Cajun Crab Dip is great. Bought some small (31 to 35 count) peeled and deveined shrimp. Joe Patti's steamed and seasoned them for us to perfection. I also bought some crab cakes but haven't tried them yet. Can't wait to go back.

phone: 850 912-8347. This is a very nice breakfast, brunch and lunch place. Open daily 7 am to 2 p.m.
I loved the creative egg scrambler and omelet options here! It was a hard choice! I went with Stans omelet that had andouille sausage and shrimp and cheese and a yummy hollandaise sauce. My guys had banana foster pancakes and French toast. Also amazing. So...MoreWe're glad to hear you had fantastic food and nice service. We appreciate you leaving this great review and hope to see you again soon!

Our first experience at the Global Grill was a winner! George was an informative and attentive server who helped us to maximize our short visit (pre-hockey game Birthday dinner celebration). We chose the charcuterie and cheese board, brussel sprouts, homemade chips, asparagus tempura, pork medallions, bisque du jour, and the special wild mushroom salad. Everything was delicious, generous, and most definitely worth sharing! We will be back. A fun way to share a meal with anyone!

Carmen's lunch bar is a charming little place in Downtown Pensacola with delicious food and an amazing atmosphere! My visits wouldn't be complete without the soda bread and the delicious pulled pork sandwich. The have a different assortment of desserts everyday and always use fresh ingredients!

McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire's moves to its current location; Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you'll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment. For the most current Menu's please visit our website.
A friend made us promise to visit this restaurant and what a spectacle. In addition to being an Irish pub/restaurant, there were dollar bills stapled to the ceiling and walls. Everyone is welcome to ask for a stapler and your server will bring one, along with a Sharpie so you can write a message on your dollar before displaying it. Cheap entertainment, indeed.
Service at lunch was top notch. The server was experienced and knew the menu backward and forward; she even asked us if we had allergies to some ingredients (we did). Everything our family ordered was perfect and delicious. The one disappointing thing was that there was no spicy mustard option for the giant pretzel appetizer.
The beer/cocktail menu is also impressive. There was some lewd (abstract) artwork over our table, but the kids took it in stride. I didn't hit the restrooms, but I hear they are a sight to be seen. There is a small gift shop with Irish themed knick knacks, but nothing seemed compelling. Maybe I'll get something next time, because any trip to Pensacola deserves another visit to McGuire's.

Authentic Southern Barbecue Cooked on a Real Oak & Hickory Fire! Opened in June of 2013, we are family operated and sincerely appreciate your patronage. Our Goal is to serve the very best Southern Style Barbecue. Only the finest meats are selected, seasoned with our special dry-rub, and cooked in our outdoor Smokers. Nothing is deep-fried. We use a combination of recipes, from family and friends, and all quality ingredients. White Bread is traditional and we will provide more if you want. We truly care about your dining experience and expect our service to be friendly and prompt. If there is a special condiment or something extra that you desire, just ask. Our signature sauce is tomato-based with a little black pepper “kick” to it. We do not cook with sauce, so it is added at the time of serving. Order dry, if you prefer. There will be warm sauce on the table. For take-out, an extra side of sauce can be provided. Thank You!
I have eaten barbecue everywhere. We lived in Texas for 15 years, we are Chiefs fans and even went to the playoffs this year. Lots of really great barbecue but the sauces all pale in comparison to hotspot. There was a big "smoking in the park" barbecue competition here in Pensacola with competitors from all over the country. One in particular from Columbus Ohio had every imaginable trophy. They went by the byline "the sauce is the boss". We are actually throwing out their sauceAs we can get hotspot anytime. This is really large chunks of black pepper. Very unique and incredibly tasty. Huge ribs, very meaty. And the sauce – we do it constantly. Their family pack is a real bargain – dirt cheap.

Pot Roast & Pinot is a modern, simple restaurant with gourmet American fare, an open kitchen, a full bar and an expansive wine list presented on an iPad list. While the food is definitely upscale, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the pricing is very fair. This makes Pot Roast & Pinot the perfect place for a intimate meal or a lavish group dinner. Pot Roast & Pinot has upscale versions of all your comfort food favorites and the culinary team is always creating new dishes that appear on the Chef's Menu.
We flew into town in the evening and tried this restaurant based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. It is creative with high quality and a great wine list. We ate several appetizers and enjoyed them all plus had great service. Its kind of a locals spot, off the beaten path of the beach but worth it if you are in Pensacola.

New Orlean's favorite Breakfast & Brunch spot is now open in Pensacola! You can enjoy our delectable benedicts, french toast, pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches, burger and cocktails any time of day!
We went here for breakfast. The waiter was upset we were asking questions about the food so he told us in the middle of order I need to go I’m busy. When presenting the drinks he said blackberry mimosa was made with puréed fresh fruit so I ordered it. I’m attaching a picture of the drink where you can clearly see it’s just fruit juice mixed with whatever else. I asked about it and was told the pure was in kitchen ??!!! We waited for the food more than 30 minutes not sure why, no explanation was given to us. Pancake was doughy, eggs Benedict good, omelet good as well. Extremely poor service though.

Classic sophistication meets style and chic at Jackson’s Steakhouse, where the decadence doesn’t stop at the front door. Indulge your friends, family, and clients in an incredible experience of culinary excellence. Located in the historic downtown district directly on Ferdinand Plaza, Jackson’s remains one of the most desirable dining destinations in Pensacola.
Close to several must-visit sights (Museum of Commerce and T.T. Wentworth Jr Florida State Museum), this is a logical eating place. Our group was well cared-for by Kyle. Because we didn't have much time to spare, we chose lighter fare: creamy asparagus soup, with a choice of breaded-fried chicken sandwich, grilled chicken Caesar salad or vegetarian farfalla pasta. Visitors to Pensacola would do well to keep Jackson's on their dining lists.

We love the consistency of service as well as taste.
Favorites are: the artichoke soup!!!!!
The fried vegetable appetizer with Fried zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant, and onion rings. They always allow you to substitute veggies off for more of the ones you like.
The pizzas are all good. We’ve tried many through the years.
We have eaten here many times inside as well as take out.
The meatballs are huge and very good.
It’s a great place for a gourmet pizza and something different, where the picky eaters can find an option too.
