We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The building is historic and well-maintained. The exposed thick stone walls and wood floors give a comfortable feel. I had the Pan Seared Chicken Chesapeake which was very good as was my companion's Soy Glazed Sea Bass. He never cleans his plate but did this time because he enjoyed it so much. The best part of the meal was the dessert. We ordered the Warm Chocolate Peanut Butter Indulgence which was incredible! Our waitress said she dreams about it (which was cute) and we could see why. I do feel they should serve espresso/cappuccino; it would have been nice to have that to go with our wonderful dessert. The coffee was good though. Overall the food is fresh, well prepared, and clean tasting. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. The location is definitely out of the way, but not difficult to reach. Worth the trip!

I thought it would be nice to go to this restraint for Valentines Day so I made a registration for my wife and I. We got there at the time we were told and waited and hour for a seat. Then we were seated and literally not given a menu a glass of water or a roll. We sat there for 45 minutes and nobody ever came up to us and told us what the issue was. We left very disappointed and ended up going to the grocery store buying or food and making our Valentines Day dinner ourselves. I live in area and after this incident I heard about the owners wife and how she treats her employees. I now understand why they must not have shown up for work. Don't spend a dime here unless you think its ok to treat people like dirt.

Winners! They always have the best hot dogs and really tasty chicken fingers. I love the ice cream, especially the blizzards! Lately I'm more into small vanilla cones with crunch coat!

Good ownership, fairly friendly, difficult location the result of town planners, not ownership. A ray of sunshine in pennsburg.

She will seat you, take your order, bakes, cooks and always has the best smile. Warm and friendly. Has a large selection of tea's. She makes homemade whipped cream! Sweet music for my belly! The owner was lucky to find her.

I've had lunch here about 1/2 dozen times, and I always hope for, but don't receive, more. The service is always slow even though I order sub sandwhiches (and more than once I was the only patron!) The kitchen, though, is ALWAYS busy w/take-out trade. The subs are OK, bread is fair and portions are just OK. The tuna salad, which I expect some patrons enjoy, appeared to me like spackling compound for drywall. Kinda tasted that way too. Weird. Step it up, guys.

You should know that this is a gun club in case that kind of thing may bother you. It is not fancy and people sit very close. It is always packed for breakfast. They serve lunch but I have never had lunch there. The breakfasts a generous a very good.

Stopped by after a recommendation from a friend. Cozy dining room, nice decor and fireplace. Good service, plenty of variety on the menu. Wine and drink menu. Nice craft beer selection and fights available! Started with the onion soup. Delicious!! My wife had the chicken cheese steak with a horseradish cream sauce. It was great! I had the honey bacon jam burger with cheese on a bright roll. The bacon jam was delicious. The burger cooked perfectly. Looking forward to returning!!

Our return visit for breakfast confirmed our past experiences here. The restaurant is well lighted, clean, and cheery. Brandy, our server was most pleasant, efficient, and professional. The food for breakfast can be best described as "okay," nothing distinctive about anything on the menu. They serve typical diner fare down to the usual frozen potatoes that have been thawed, reheated and served. We would go out of our way for good, in-house prepared potatoes. The prices here are on the high side so the least that they could do is have more freshly prepared items. Ho-hum.
