We nearly never went due to the off putting lady at the desk of the hotel but we booked as we were recommended by our accommodation owners. The food was just delicious and lots of it. The house red and white were from Pemberley of Pemberton (merlot and SBS). Very good value.

We drove to Hidden River Estate on our way to Big Brook Dam in Pemberton. 4 adults and 2 kids were very happy with the food. The Pork Belly was crisp and the cabbage with apple sauce as sides were delicious. The ladies enjoyed their Sparkling "Fizz" and the kids were excited about the horses around and the toys available, The playground was not much though. The views are stunning.

Silkwood Wines has a magnificent Lakeside Cellar Door & Restaurant where meals are created from fresh seasonal local produce to accompany our cool climate wines. Beautifully set into the surrounding karri forest, Silkwood's cellar door and restaurant is truly breathtaking. Overlooking a tranquil 17 acre lake provides the perfect vantage point to appreciate Pemberton's charm. Our Cellar Door & Restaurant is open 10am to 4pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for lunch and wine tasting/sales. Our wines are crafted with individual attention and focus on expressing the distinct varietal characteristics renowned of the Pemberton wine region. The wines are carefully crafted with 100% fruit grown on our vineyard, which enhances the uniqueness and individuality of the wines. Silkwood Wines have four luxury five star chalets located on the vineyard. After a picturesque drive through our vineyard the chalets are set behind our cellar door and away from the daily hustle and bustle of daily life. The chalets are set lakeside, individually themed and architect designed.
My wife and I made a reservation here for lunch the following day (a Sunday) at 2pm.
When we arrived the restaurant was approximately half full with a group doing wine tasting that later took a table in the restaurant.
The wait staff were friendly and stated that they were busy and that service of meals would be delayed which we were initially okay with. However time passed and after half an hour the waiter informed us that they only had a single chef on duty and apologised for the delay. We found this very odd for a restaurant in a popular tourist destination on a long weekend. Eventually our food arrived one and a quarter hours after we arrived and ordered. Needless to say we were ravenous at the time.
After Reading reviews from other people we were expecting spectacular food that may have made up for the long wait but were sorely disappointed once again.
We had both ordered medium rare fillet steaks along with a side of potato croquettes (two of our preferred starters were unavailable). My wife's steak was cooked medium though mine was an excellent medium-rare. We did not complain at this point as we were starving and willing to accept this in order to eat something at last. Disappointingly the vegetables (cauliflower and broccoli and some of the carrots) that accompanied the steak were undercooked and dry making them inedible as well.
The potato croquettes were actually very good, which, along with the friendly Waitstaff, were the only redeeming feature of the meal.
Needless to say we will not be returning here in future.

We were recommended this cute little cafe by the staff at Karri Valley Resort.
We'd already had breakfast, so popped in for a drink instead.
It has gorgeous Gardens, very friendly chooks and a Art Gallery all rolled in one.
We will be back one day for a meal- we saw a few come out from rhe kitchen, and they looked yummy

A very pretty place serving great food and drinks and also selling a variety of good quality goods, edible, potable and ornamental! Love the silvereyes coming in to mop up the crumbs.

Jarrah Jacks brewery is a boutique brewery surrounded by beautiful views. Come in and indulge in one of our Jack's Rack tasting paddles and pick a favourite. Enjoy a hand crafted meal by our talented chef. During the school holidays we are open 6 days of the week
Wonderful view, great food and very good friendly service. We had the Waldorf salad and the classic JJ burger with Pemby chips. Both were enjoyed and good size servings. The only minor thing the burger meat could do with a bit more flavour. We tried their wheat beer that was very nice. I can see this place being especially busy on the weekend as during the week there was a number of people and a couple of large family groups. Would recommend and definately return.

Foragers has that perfect mix of seclusion, comfort while still being central to many sites and activities in the region. A great private retreat with lovely accommodation makes Foragers the place to base yourself for a few days. Run by owner and Master Chef Sophie and her husband Chris this property is beautifully maintained. Vegetable Gardens, and a chicken coop add a nice touch. The rooms are very comfortable with full kitchens, beds that easily put you to sleep, TV, AC, Fireplace with loads of wood if needed. Wished we were there for the Saturday night dinner...we heard it is amazing and not to be missed, oh well, next time. Sophie is delightful and will give you all the information that you will need to insure that you have an amazing time around the Pemberton region. The "Tall Trees" are here so Foragers is the perfect base to rest up before and after your climbs.

Awesome food. I had the spaghetti bolognaise and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to that but it was pretty good. Massive servings so make sure your hungry! Service is good. Friendly staff.

We headed over to Cafe Brasil after finishing the Pemberton Tramway trip. It was a cold day and what better way to warm up than to sit in a warm cafe with coffee and something nice to eat.
We had a toasted cheese and ham Sandwich and a pastie. Both were simple but quite nice. They also sell pies and other cakes.
The coffee was delicious!
A great place to be on a chilly morning.
