One of the dozen or so restaurants along the bay. The fish (something like trout) was perfect. The sort of unfried French fries were unappealing, the white rice as bland as usual in Peru. An option for salad or vegetables would have made the dinner...MoreGracias por lo dicho, mejoraremos para tu regreso

This is the kind of restaurant you could find in any tourist area in any country. It's laid-back and familiar, with a menu in English and food you recognise. It's popular with backpackers and families with small children. The food is okay, safe but not amazing, and there are a range of vegetarian options. Service is good and prices are fine.

Don't know what happened after my last visit 2 years ago but food here was not good at all. The only plates that were ok were Aji de Gallina, Lomo Saltado and Pulpo al Olivo. After having breakfast, lunch and dinner 3 people and for 3 days.
Good service but bad food. Worst Eggs Benedict I have had in my life, awful pancakes (cold and heated). We asked for picarones and they offered they could do for us for the following day, we appreciate the offer but they were not good either.
Sadly because the hotel is beautiful and the people who work there really make and effort.

We had "chita" or rock bass, friendly and quick service. A neighbouring table ordered Parihuela, it looked very good. Bright and airy restaurant. No bathroom (they're close to the entrance to the parking area). There are several restaurants in Lagunillas, in our experience this is the best.

Nothing special about El Piloto. My experience at this restaurant was when I was driving from Lima to Paracas. As a pit stop restaurant, the food was all right. The decor is very basic and service is decent. Prices surprisingly were inexpensive considering their are barely any other restaurants in the area. I would recommend going to this restaurant as a pit stop when travelling to other parts of the country.

Visited the Hotel Paracas after more than 16 years and we were very surprised and amazed by the quality of the services and the level of the installations. The new owner made lots of improvements. This restaurant is well placed into the hotel marina. Dishes presentation perfect!, so was the taste and food quality. The "causa" and "ceviche" were OK in terms of quantity but the shellfish dishes just so-so. Not enough generous for the price. Once in a lifetime is OK, but would return if quantity is improved.

Mediterranean food restaurant. Our menu includes pizzas, pasta, fish and meat.
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We went as the hotel receptionist recommended the place. I know good pizza, after having eaten in fine restaurants in Rome and elsewhere. However, the pizza in this restaurant was amongst the worse I have ever had in any restaurant. It was greasy and the dough did not taste fresh. The waitress said the pizza was with mozzarella (it was certainly not mozzarella).
On the plus side the restaurant is tastefully decorated and easy to find. But I would not recommend it.

Smoothies, Milkshakes, Coffee (Pasado & Espresso), Burgers (veggie too!) & Wings
Visited this place today when it was really busy. The owner told us that they missed 3 staff members today. Even though they missed staff they did a really good job. The oat meal, pancakes, coffees and breakfast were deliciously.
If you visit Paracas this is a must do/see.

Go the Conchas, Calamar, or crayfish. Actually the crays were more like crawbobs or yabbies, battered and deep fried. Ok, maybe even traditional, but a little more imagination wouldn't hurt.
Try them if you like, I would rather recommend the scallops and squid.
Not the cheapest place to eat but still a nice place on the esplanade.
