Panguipulli (/ˌpæŋɡiˈpuːji/ PANG-gee-POO-yee; Mapudungun for "hill of the puma") is a city and commune in Valdivia Province, southern Chile, administered by the Municipality of Panguipulli. The town is known for its natural environment, and is called "City of roses" (Spanish: La Ciudad de las rosas). Panguipulli is located on the western edge of Panguipulli Lake, and is on a moraine in the Chilean Central Valley. Most of the commune lies on Andean mountains and valleys.

Llegamos, estaba lleno, sólo había una mesa, después nos cambiamos a una mesa más grande. Atención casi excelente, pizzas buenas, buena relación precio calidad, helados muy ricos y de buen tamaño, café rikisimo. Pie de limón y l kuchen maravilloso.
El detalle está en las porciones de lasagna, muy pequeñas (y era para las niñas). El sabor nada excepcional.
No tienen cerveza sin alcohol. Variedad de helados y crema.
El resto, bien.

The restaurant school offers, by far, the most imaginative and tasty food in town. It's mostly traditional Chilean food with a little flair. Prices are reasonable (US$12 entrees). Service was pretty good. Dessert wasn't as good as the main courses.
I'd definitely eat here again next time I was in Panguipulli.

It's not easy to review a small town restaurant. Do you consider the neighbours or do you compare it to alternatives elsewhere? I'll try to consider both.
This restaurant is open all year round. That means stability and experience... It's not just a summer vacation fad or shooting star. Nevertheless nothing flashy about it.
Good dinner: excellent spanish potatoe tortilla and fillet carpaccio. Both very well done. A real effort has been made in decoration and the familly operated business has its local customers. Priced as expected.
Been in such a beautifull enviroment, it's a pity the main view is at the towns' hardware store.

We stopped here for lunch and it was lovely. Only restaurant in town with a great lake view. Split the meat platter for two. Super tasty. The owner was lovely. If we lived here, he would be our new best friend.

Paseando en familia nos encontramos con este pub. Hermoso lugar, rústico, buen ambiente, una terraza ideal. La atención cordial y amena. La comida cumplen muy bien, pizzas, tablas, quesadillas y Sandwich. Tragos muy bien preparados y una larga lista de cervezas nacionales y artesanales. Un lugar que no te puedes perder si vas a Panguipulli.

Friendly enough service, but good was disappointing and portions small for what you expect in Chile. We ordered the cerviche which didn't taste entirely fresh and my daughter had the pesto pasta which was homemade and decent. Seemed Restaurant is more of a pizza joint , so perhaps better to opt for that if you visit.

este fue el descubrimiento del viaje, caminando en Panguipulli buscando algo para almorzar encontramos este restorán cerca del centro, entramos sin grandes expectativas y casi nos vamos para atrás como condorito al proba la comida, increíble!. los productos super frescos y del lugar, y se nota el amor que ponen en su preparación. yo pedí el cebiche de trucha, y pablo trucha frita con puré, el que era de papa. muy buena opción, recomendable para los que van a la cuidad. no es un gran restaurant ni fino, pero vale la pena ir

The Best coffee and cakes in Panguipulli

The twn of Panguipulli doesn't offer many quality optionsin regards to eating out. Cafe Momentos offers a nice chance to stop for coffeeand kuchen (local name for pie) which are usually raspberry or blueberry. If you arrive on an early bus, it's the only place open in town in town.
