Pizza al taglio {tah-leoh} or ‘pizza by the slice’, originated in Rome, Italy, where the hustle and bustle of a growing city started to influence the eating habits of its citizens. The romans discovered a new way of eating pizza, that meant they could pick from an always changing variety, quickly, allowing them to enjoy their much loved pizza, without slowing them down. We craft our dough in house every day, and it all begins with high quality ingredients, like extra virgin olive oil and locally milled high gluten flours; which are always unbleached and unbromated. Our dough is left to rise for up to 72 hours, allowing the dough to mature. during this time, the yeast gets to work, withthe end result being a highly digestible, light and fragrant pizza! We work hard to make sure we can source as much of our produce and ingredients locally whenever possible. Along with it's pizza, Focaccia also offers a variety of freshly prepared panini, fresh salads and charcuterie boards. Even better, we have a wide selection of Italian beers and wines. Whether you're looking for a quick bite during your busy day, or somewhere to enjoy a glass of wine, we're sure we have what you're looking for...and if you really can't stay, you can always order to go!
WOW! Stopped in for lunch after seeing good reviews, but I was blown away by the creativity of the offerings here. Order at the front, then they serve you at your seat. Limited seating but well appointed and bright during the day. I disagree with a previous review that said nothing special! Pizzas offered during lunch at my visit: Rosemary Potatoe, Black Olive Artichoke, Eggplant, Zuchinni, plus the normal fare VERY special indeed. Made it really hard to make a decision. Salads were fresh and sizeable.

On special occasions we would go to St. Augustine for a special dinner (good food, service, wine etc) Instead we decided to try LaPiazza. We were all extremely pleased with our food, service and wine selection. Our waitress was very attentive but not pushy, and the food was perfectly cooked to our request . We all agreed that we no longer need to drive 30 minutes to have a fine dining experience.

If you’re looking for fall off the bone ribs this is the place. Sweet potato mash enough for two. Prices are reasonable, family friendly.

I have not been here in a few months - trying to cut down a little. Today it was really cold out, so I got the grilled cheese sandwich and cup of chili. I usually order a big sandwich like the reuben or italian sub, but I wasn't as hungry today. For the sandwich, you get a choice of several breads and cheeses. I got wheat bread and cheddar cheese and it was great. Comes with chips and a pickle spear. The chili was hot and tasty too. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. In over 2 years eating here I've been impressed every time.

Joe's New York Pizza and Pasta is completely family owned and operated providing the finest in italian cuisine and family enviorment. With our great atmosphere with such accommodations as televisions, beautiful interior design and our outside seating, you'll truly feel like you've gotten a slice of the " Big Apple".
Coming from the New Jersey, we have own style of pizza. A lot of places claim to New York Pizza, most, do not. Joe's does. Excellent pizza and good food.

We are a family owned & operated Italian restaurant & pizzeria. We have 3 locations, 2 in Palm Coast & 1 in Ormond Beach. We offer daily lunch & dinner specials as well as, Gluten Free options. We offer dine in, take out & free delivery.
Dropped by for lunch while at the small Farmers Market. The wonderful smells from the kitchen pull you in and do not disappoint. We have now eaten 4 meals from Mezzaluna. Two in their outdoor seating area, and two delivery. Pizza was as good as you can find in New York City, & Boston North End. Everything is made from scratch including the Italian sausage. The lunch specials change, and they even have meals on the menu for $9.99. I had the $9.99 spaghetti & Italian sausage and found not finish but half of it, so got the rest to go. Fresh bread comes to the table complimentary, and refreshed when empty. The wait staff - totally on top of everything, they work well as a team. Calzones are enormous and delicious, easy shared with some to spare. Delivery pizza arrived piping hot. Hope to go there sometime and actually manage to save room for dessert!
Go people, you will not be disappointed!

We had a sort of lunch/brunch here for two adults and two teens.
This is a friendly, effective all day diner that works well for a big old meal.
I wouldn't recommend either the lemonade or the peach iced tea. Neither tasted too good and we left most of it.
The food however was good. All the portions were BIG (ok, so we are from the UK so everything in the US looks big to us, but these were big!). We were v happy that the breakfast stuff was served all day. I had the avocado toast with eggs which was very tasty. Eggs benedict went down well and also a bagel with cheese and scrambled egg and a burger.
Service was prompt and friendly and prices seemed reasonable.
The specials that they were writing up for the evening looked tasty - chicken alfredo and grilled shrimp.
We would go there again.

We are local to Palm Coast and decided to try this based on the reviews we had seen. We were seated quickly. The drinks menu is incredibly limited if you don't drink alcohol and you don't like sodas. No fruit juices, no lemonade. Just water. That was a bit disappointing.
We ordered promptly and chose mussels in a tomato broth, followed by chicken 386 and the trout. The mussels arrived promptly and were absolutely excellent. Fresh, tasty and the broth was perfect. 10/10.
Unfortunately things went distinctly downhill from there. We waited an eternity for the entrees to arrive. I have no idea what the problem was but other tables came and went but our food did not arrive. When it did, the chicken was "ok" but no better. The trout, which was butterflied and then crumbed and pan fried was very nice, not particularly delicate but ok. The accompanying risottos were fine, technically a touch overcooked I think. But the vegetables were positively doused in garlic and flavourings for both dishes. They totally overwhelmed all the other flavours and the effect was a culinary disaster in my mind.
We did not stay for dessert but went home to cleanse the palette with fresh fruit etc.
It being Saturday there is also rather loud live music which I would be inclined to avoid if you prefer a quiet setting.

Chef Hung Huynh, opens his newest concept in Palm Coast, Florida. Inspired by his Vietnamese heritage and grandmothers everywhere, Chef Hung's menu changes seasonally with rotating special and a family style dinner service.
We had dinner here last night on the recommendation of friends. Our great dining experience started with delicious Duck Spring Rolls that were served hot and crispy. We also had the Roasted Brussel Sprouts which were perfectly seasoned and prepared and a generous portion too. The Lemongrass Coconut Curry with Gulf Shrimp was another generous portion of Shrimp and Vegetables I a very tasty sauce. Our other entree was the Aromatic Clay Pot with Pork which was also a winner. Service was excellent too. Like other reviewers, we can’t wait to go back.

In 1968, we were just a local BBQ joint in Gainesville, Florida. Today, we're still a local BBQ joint. We just happen to be in a few more locations. But we still do things the same way Floyd "Sonny" Tillman and his wife, Lucille, did back then. We still slow-smoke over oak for up to 12 hours at a time. We still serve generous portions. And we still believe people should be able to go out to eat and feel right at home.
We found he BBQ good at this restaurant; but, not outstanding by any means. The sides were descent. Again, not outstanding. We would try it again.Thank you for your review,1Naturegirl. We’re always open to hearing further feedback from our guests and invite you to email us your ideas to [email protected]. We look forward to speaking with you
