We liked this place so much we went two nights in a row. We had very friendly service both nights we went for dinner. Curry meals came with mixed veggie chutney and sriracha- like chutney, dahl soup and roti/papadum. Spice level was very good for the curries.
You could ask for slight tweaks to the heat level if needed. It was a lot of food! Each night we went the vegetable mix in the curry was slightly different but both were very good
The banana fritters were also delicious. Similar to sweet plantains fried in butter with 2 scoops of ice cream. The food portions were quite large & for a good price: two mains & 4 drinks was $70 FJD / $35 USD
Outdoor Seating by the pond was pleasant. We also sat in the outside courtyard under a roof. It was quite a nice way to let the rain pass.
With luck you’ll also get to meet Alfie the cat. He’s quite cute but may get distracted by all of the fish in the pond!

It's a bit inconvenient to get to but the food is very good as it has always been. If you are passing and feel a bit hungry try the roti parcels which are tasty and filling. The specialities are the curries and I've never tried anything else.
Well worth finding and visiting.

A little taste of New Orleans at Baka Blues Cafe`...a quaint restaurant positioned by the lily lake and next to the majestic Baka tree at Shop 9e, Arts Village, Pacific Harbour. While away an hour or two under our blue umbrellas, spot our local white heron and feel like you've been transported to a Louisiana bayou. Our barbeque and Cajun inspired menu features Southern favorites as well as mouth watering in-house creations, garden fresh salads and enticing appetizers. So for a little taste of New Orleans come listen to the Blues, nibble on baby back sizzlers, savour the flavors of smoked chicken served in a pineapple boat, be surprised by how well Cajun spices marry with South Pacific mud crabs, tuck into a Texas T-Bone, and sip on a refreshing margarita or mint julep...or two!!We'll help you keep your "mojo"...
We enjoyed a lovely lunch - ceasar salad and a pulled pork & sweet potao pie - both delicious and washed down with a Fiji Gold! Beautiful setting overlooking a lily pond.Thank you for your review oltona. We are so very pleased that you had a lovely time with us. We love discerning travelers!! Thank you for your business. Cheers, Stella

Good Food, Fast Service and Friendly Atmosphere. Description The Water's Edge Bar & Grill, nestled by a pond, provides the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a sun downer and catch glimpses of the setting sun from our large deck area! It offers a fully licensed bar complimented by its assortment of great food and friendly service!
I had looked up several restaurant on Tripadvisor before going to Fiji. One was The Water's Edge Bar & Grill in the Arts Center. We walked in the man in front was on the phone for about 10 minutes, never acknowledged us. Finally got off the phone and say the only words he ever said which was take a seat. We walked outside a chose a table near the water. A while later the same man came out threw the menus on the table, turned and left. My girlfriend and I looked at each other in amazement and I said let's leave. We left and went to The Oasis where we had had a good experience the day before. Again another good experience at The Oasis. Before we went back to the resort we looked at The Water's Edge Bar & Grill and there was no one eating there.

Staying at Club Oceanus around the corner. Saw the reviews and went to have a look, got a chicken curry as lamb as out. Had it with roti, was noice. This is my post-dive ritual now! Might try duck today!

Stopped for lunch here after a long drive pax of 4. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Food was our disappointment, we ordered chicken & beef burger - chicken and beef patties were dry and tasteless, overall chips were soaky. Our 3&4 friends enjoyed their warm chicken salad and club Sandwich.
Restaurant got lots of potential, definitely will be back.

What a find in Pacific Harbour! We came to Pacific Harbour for a day trip to get out of boring Suva, stepped off the bus and wondered what we had done! But when we found this little cafe all was good in the world again!
This is a nice little spot, with very friendly service, and good western food. There was free wifi, although a bit weak, but enough to check the basics.
