Outstanding service by Laura highlighted an overall delicious meal of generous omelets, fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup, average hash browns and bacon, satisfying oatmeal, and a very fresh and wonderful yogurt parfait with blueberries/banana/granola. The restaurant filled up very quickly around 9am and we were very lucky to arrive just ahead of the crowd to be seated at a nice booth facing the street view. Our server Laura moved at the speed of light and was overly attentive even though she was working hard to keep up with all the tables and orders. We enjoyed her constant smile and friendly attitude. In our opinion, Patterson's has set the bar high for other restaurants in town with a nicely decorated and clean establishment that succeeds in delivering high quality food in generous portions.

Handcrafted for Five Generations Since 1870. Louis and Regina Graeter started handcrafting Graeter's Ice Cream in 1870. Today, generations later, we proudly remain family owned and operated. This is made possible thanks to you, our legion of loyal fans. For a century and a half, Graeter's has remained steadfast in our commitment to making ice cream in 2 gallon French Pots one batch at a time.
A well known local treat founded in Cincy. Oxford is fortunate to have its own store. They offer all that you can expect from a real ice cream store. They also have seasonal flavors offered each month.
The place gets crowded at peak times but they do a good job keeping the line moving. There is seating inside & they generally have a dispenser filled with cold water too.

Excellent coffee, ice tea and fruit smoothies. Lots of seating indoors, plush sofas and chairs in addition to tables. Outside seating also. Inside make sure to look up. The ceiling is gorgeous. Although painted black you can see the craftmsnship detail in the molding and plaster sculpted ceiling.

Little hole-in-the-wall = Big selection! All kinds and flavors of doughnuts, cookies and muffins can be found here. My only complaint is too much icing on the chocolate yeast doughnuts.
I had previously found this place closed most of the times I tried to visit around mid-morning, but now it seems to be open more hours. The staff could not be friendlier, especially the older man (owner?). This could become my bad habit when visiting Oxford!

Oxford's oldest bar/restaurant established 1946. 10 oz. chargilled burger menu, chicken wings, subs, salads. 12 taps, pitchers of beer, large selection of local craft beer
This friendly bar has been open since 1946. It's far from fancy, but they serve reasonably priced beer with lots of local brewery options on draft. Their hamburgers are the best in town. The menu is not deep, but there are sandwiches, salads, tacos, etc., and everything we've tried has been well prepared.

Well, nobody who knows Starbucks needs to hear what they serve, because the menu doesn't vary much from place to place. The people who serve it are trained to be as efficient and polite as they know how to be, and here they get the job done well enough. What differs is the location. It's an easy walk from campus, from the city building, and other stores up and down High St., so there's no lack of customers. But there is a decided lack of space. The few people who get there early enough to find a table usually sit one-to-a-table with their ear buds and laptops, oblivious to the world around them. The tables are small and close together, And there aren't many of them. A couple more tables outside are nice, on a nice day. And that's it. Most people will have to do carry out, and luckily that seems to suit most people just fine. I've sometimes wished I could sit there and enjoy a coffee, but except for one occasion, that just wasn't possible.

Our party of five ate here on a Friday night. recently. The restaurant does not accept reservations, but perhaps because we came after 8:00 pm, there was a table immediately available. Our server was pleasant and informative, describing dishes in detail and offering us samples of several wines we thought might work with our meals. The food was outstanding and the prices quite reasonable. The only reason I do not give five stars is the restaurant's small size and no reservation policy that makes going there a bit of a crap shoot. We will return--but late!

Oxford's Hometown sort serve and snack shop! We have a park like atmosphere where you can eat and play outside with family and friends.
After driving past many times, we finally stopped in for some dessert last night. What a fun little place! Games for both adults and kids in the yard, delicious ice cream treats (the Reese's one is #1 for a reason), and very helpful and friendly staff.

Oxford staple. Bagel sandwiches. Steamed. Takes a while. Call in your order. More options than you can shake a stick at. Perfect for lunch. Sit outside. People watch. Bowler's Bagel. Yum.
