The Boot has all day breakfast. Our kind of place. The selection is large and varied. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wait staff are wonderful. The Boot even has baked goods for sale. On the whole a very nice way to start your day or end it.

Went to Nathaniel's for a business lunch and it was really good. The Trout was particularly well received but I had and excellent shrimp cocktail with French Onion Soup although the soup was a bit salty. They have a varied menu with something for everyone. Highly recommend.

Norma Jean's opened it's doors in 1984 and has been a local favourite for 30 years. Offering a wide range of food and brews/spirits for every walk of life. Drawing inspiration from many cultures and culinary styles. Norma Jean's also includes daily lunch and dinner features created by the amazing team of chefs dwelling in the closet... Uh hum, I mean kitchen!
My blackened salmon dish was so good I went back the next night to have it again before leaving for home. I would recommend this restaurant. It was quaint, whimsical and the food is excellent. It was recommended to me, and both nights that I was there (weeknights) they were booked up, a sign of a good restaurant. I was told they are known for their burgers, but I was interested in the seafood. The salmon was so moist, perfectly cooked (slightly better the first night as it was so moist). The vegetables with it were good. I had all vegetables, no starch, and the second night they added a 2.00 charge to my bill for additional veggies. When I asked they explained that they charge for two veggies. However, since I hadn't asked for them, I had only asked for no starch all vegetable, they removed the charge. I would say that was the only down side. The first night the chef came to the table to take my order and recommended I try the salmon blackened (they do a lemon version as well). I was glad I did that as it was not to hot but nicely seasoned. Give this place a try.

I visited a few times now and the dine in and take out is very good. The restaurant is spacious and well appointed. The service is friendly and the dishes are certainly prepared with quality and in abundance. Vegetable dishes are fresh and crisp and their chicken and shrimp dishes were very flavorful. Definitely an above average and very clean venue.

In need of a snack and a break from Christmas shopping, Mason and I decided to head down to the Inn for some take-out fries and gravy. Most of the time (we come for these fairly frequently), our stuff is perfect. I LOVE the gravy from the Inn.
Unfortunately, this visit, as well as our last, I found our fries to be a little undercooked.
Service at the Inn is always pretty friendly, I will be sure to simply ask for our fries to be cooked crispy in the future. Easy Peasy. Still a wonderful snack and a well needed break from the hustle bustle of town.
Thank-you!,
Paul

A beautiful dining room and patio with serene views over Georgian Bay. This restaurant offers standard and lounge style Seating with a full bar available. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, The Bishop's Landing Restaurant is well known for being a nice quiet place with quality food. Specializing in groups and large parties, This restaurant is the ideal choice for your next gathering.
Frequent here for business lunches; have learned to arrive around 11:30 am to beat the rush. This spot is pretty busy, and its better to get in and out before it fills up. There is a daily soup, pizza and omelet although some of the flavour combinations are not always appetizing.
Food is consistently good, served hot and usually pretty quick. I find the service to be really good and the price is reasonable for the servings provided. Great spot to look out at the lake and enjoy a relaxing lunch.

This place has a loyal clientele. Went on a recent Thursday night, and enjoyed the Jaeger Schnitzel dinner, and our whole group of six had various schnitzels. Good service and enjoyed the food. They serve good home fries, but wish they had spaetzli. Portions are large and food was tasty.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The food was great, I would recommend the prime rib beef on Friday night. The prices were reasonable, but the menu warns that they will be going up in January 2018 to address the increase in minimum wage. I would think that this will decrease the percentage one would give for a tip, since the idea of the tip is to offset the lower wage that the waitress receives.

Breakfast spot a favourite of locals, almost don't want to give away this secret, but their food is excellent and their service great, they totally deserve the recognition!
We always stop here on our way south, and it's just for the Reuben sandwiches. They are simply the best Reubens in Ontario, and perhaps anywhere: loads of pastrami and sauerkraut, excellent swiss cheese, and a good tangy Dijon mustard. They Sandwich comes on huge slabs of the Dragonfly's house-made Bauer Brot.
Add in the bottomless coffee cups, and the friendly and attentive staff, and it's no surprise the place is always busy.
