Opened in 1972, Mo's West was the third location our founder Mo opened. This is a companion restaurant to the ones located on Newport's historic bayfront.
After you get tired of watching the whales and staring at the unusual configuration of rocks in The Devils Punchbowl stop by MO's for lunch.
You will find a basically no frills building with cafeteria style seating. My favorite dish on the menu is fish tacos. I have had fish tacos all over the place but none are as good as MO's! Served with your choice of chowder or a shrimp cabbage salad these tacos will fill you up.
The Cod is lightly breaded then grilled. Served in warmed tortillas with tomato and cabbage. What makes the flavor is the homemade cilantro jalapeño sauce. Don't worry it's not hot. The chowder is excellent and I would have to say I can't wait to return and order them again. Walk off you lunch with amazing vistas of surfers and wild life. You will not be disappointed.

A place we go to every time we're in Depoe Bay. Excellent, friendly service. Nice menu with daily specials. Adequate wine and cocktail list...with some unusual combinations worth trying (single malt scotch, sherry and orange bitters for instance).
Pleasant atmosphere suitable for couples or families.
A very good value.

We are family owned business producing high quality products. We offer fresh roasted coffees from ports around the world (we do our own roasting). We provide retail and wholesale offerings. Our locations carry fresh brewed coffee and espresso delights. We carry fine chocolates made freshly by our Chocolatiers. We have fresh baked products available too, our bakers are always busy. Please drop in for a visit and a cup of coffee that's been voted "Best of the Best"
Pirate theme is throughout the shop. Huge sign saying it the best coffee in the neighborhood. It was good strong and smokey. Parking was not good and in the center of the little strip for parking was a trailer parked. Pirate merchandise for sale.

Handcrafted pastries, generous portions, affordable; my husband insists we stop in each trip to the Oregon Coast, and we've been stopping in intermittently for years. Huge fruit fritters, always maple glazed apple and a rotation of other fruits on a daily basis. His favorite: marionberry fritters on Sunday. Too sweet for me, but a bran muffin or cinnamon roll fits me perfectly. You can also purchase a loaf of fresh-baked bread to enjoy later.
Tiny spot and just baked goods, but perfect if you love fritters, doughnuts, cookies, muffins, bread, etc. I even saw crullers recently.
Closed Mondays & Tuesdays so plan accordingly.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area, we've been coming here for 15 years and have never had a bad meal. I was just there to celebrate my birthday and had another great meal. I usually get the seafood linguine, my favorite, but I've...MoreIt is so nice to see our devoted customers year after year. Thank you for keeping us viable. Without our valuable past & new customers it would be a real challenge these days. Hope to see you next time!

Learned of La Maison from other tourists in the tourist information office / chamber of commerce . We just had a light lunch of a croissant sandwich and chowder but both reflected that the owners care about food and what they serve. Very good service, as well. It appears that La Maison do set dinners, which would probably be worthwhile.

Just opened July 2011. Excellent food with a great view of the boats in the harbor.
Was so sorry when they left Depoe Bay and moved to Lincoln City, but I'll gladly make the drive! Montri's food will stack up against any Thai food anywhere. Love the Crying Tiger, and I actually have dreams about the Curry Powder Noodles. Order anything on the menu -- you won't be disappointed.

We arrived to find the lounge and restaurant simply closed down. Had to travel to town to eat each day. It would have been nice to notify people of the lack of amenities at the time of booking.
No cell service and no internet service. Plan to look at the water.

Being gluten free (but not celiac), we have to pick a place that at least understands it. I was able to have the clam chowder (the waitress double checked the information). It was pretty good! Plus they have gluten free toast, pancakes and biscuits as options. They had many bakery items and even pies that were gluten free. Everything we had was delicious!

My brother and I have been on a fishing vacation in Depoe Bay, Oregon. My favorite spot for breakfast and lunch is the Sea Breeze Bakery and Café. This week, however, they just moved two blocks North to a larger building with inside and outside seating. They were not cooking lunch but the baked goods were still phenomenal! I bought apple fritters each day for both the boat and Dockside Charters. My brother and I also ate crème filled donuts and buttermilk donuts along with bacon/cheese croissants.
The service is great and is now run by Taylor and a great staff. The view from the new building is fantastic and looks out on beautiful Depoe Bay harbor.
