This place keeps wowing me, one spectacular meal after another. Even on a Friday night in high season, we were seated right on time for our reservation. The employees are mostly family members and you can tell they are invested in making your visit a success. Julia and Diana were so great. They are warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had calamari (perfect, lightly breaded and fried but not greasy or rubbery) and bang bang shrimp (spicy but not overly, large, fresh and not overcooked), along with the delicious warm bread for appetizers. The salads were fresh and crisp, the raspberry vinaigrette dressing tangy and tasty. I had the steak. It was seared on the outside and medium rare, as requested, on the inside. It was well seasoned and tender and juicy. There was fried shrimp, large and crisp and so good. Don’t miss the potato croquettes, even though they aren’t on the menu. Yum! No visit would be complete without a piece of orange sunshine cake. We actually got one to take home and another to share with the table. There were six at our table, and everyone was delighted with his/her meal. I can’t wait to go back!

Florida made hand-dipped ice cream, sorbet, sherbet, and hard-packed frozen yogurt.
Stumbled across this ice cream shop as just around the corner from our hotel . Fantastic service, great range of ice creams and delicious. Understand why it is rated so well on TripAdvisor. Worth the trip and lovely for an after dinner stop.

Big Water Fish Market opened its doors on 11/11/11 at 11am with owner Scott Dolan at the helm. We are near the south bridge on Siesta Key in the Crescent Beach Shopping Center next to Siesta Spirits liquor store. We are a retail fish market that specializes in fresh, wild, Florida seafood and we also offer a simple but delicious casual dining menu. We were voted "Best Grouper Sandwich" on the island in 2013 and we serve fresh, made-to-order meals until 6:45pm on weekdays and until 6:00pm on Saturdays and it's always BYOB! Come in and try a Seafood Steampot with crab legs, shrimp, clams, mussels, potatoes and corn on the cobb or any of our other great selections. We offer our customers the freshest fish, seafood, and produce available in a clean boutique style market. In addition, we carry a variety of specialty spices, sauces, and products to compliment your seafood. If you ever want something that we don't have in stock, just let us know and we will make some calls. In most cases we can get it to you the next day. Whether you live here or you're visiting beautiful Siesta Key, please visit the Big Water Fish Market for all your FRESH seafood needs!
This restaurant came highly recommended so I thought I’d give it a try. I have a garlic allergy which makes dining out very limiting, but this place takes the cake. Why does pineapple slasa require garlic? Why put Old Bay seasoning in the cucumber-tomato salad? While no one at our table complained about the food, no one raved either.
Like all beach areas, your’re going to wait to get in during season (ours was shorter than average at about 40 mins) but the service was less than speedy (food arrived at least 45 mins after we ordered).

It is a market and a deli, with superb home-made food and a cafe serving gourmet sandwiches, fresh pizza, Deli Meat & Cheeses Imported and Domestic and a full line of Italian Groceries. And not to mention our own Homemade Sausage made daily.
Owners are friendly and helpful. Italian desserts (i.e. ricotta cheesecake and sfgiatelle) and coffee are delicious and sandwiches are large. Having moved to Florida from the NY area, this is our place to go for Italian items like cheeses, olives, prosciutto, ravioli, etc. They carry...MoreThank you for the wonderful review.

Fabulous breakfast and lunch served in a quaint "Key West" Style House...unique breakfast fare. Give us a try!
What a delight. The interior decor is an the name implies, cottagey. The dining rooms are small so tables are quite close to one another. Upon arrival the hostess estimated a 15 minute wait however it turned out to be more like 30 minutes. There is very limited waiting area inside so everyone congregates outside. I would not advise going on a Sunday as the majority of people were dressed like they just came from church (we also encountered this last Sunday). I would recommend trying it during the week. The breakfast menu is rather extensive and the lunch options also looked inviting. Service was great and portions quite large. Would recommend the potatoes rather than grits (they were very good). Will definitely go back.

This old fashioned, family owned coffee and ice cream shop is located in Captain Curt's Village a few hundred yards south of the Stickney point (south bridge). It is beside the bike and kayak rental shop. They are super friendly and have a gourmet coffee bar, 24 flavors of hand churned, homemade ice cream. It is my favorite local coffee shop! I've never left disappointed.
Love this ice cream shop. The ooey gooey brownie and Dutch chocolate are both really good. Hits the spot after any meal on the key!

Small batches, real ingredients, and a deft hand... no proof & bake croissants, no muffin mixes, no Sysco cookie dough and no fake whipped cream. It's all from scratch and it's all made on premise. From authentic all-butter hand laminated croissants and perfect carrot cake, to fresh fruit sorbets and candied bacon BLTs on true artisanal bread, the variety, freshness and execution may surprise you at this humble little place.
Candied BLT, the bread was fresh, bacon crispy, sweet and a touch of heat. Special ham and cheese, good amount of sandwich, delicious. We loved Jim's and will be back for sure. Portions are good, you don't leave feeling over full, great for lunch and take home goodies.

Was actually quite surprised when the wait person mentioned that all orders are cooked to order. I ordered the grouper with vegetables and the green beans were cooked almost beyond edible. The grouper was outstanding and the wait person was excellent. Good vibe to this place and next time I’ll ask for my vegetables flash grilled!!!

A warm welcome to Dolce Italia, celebrating our fourth anniversary. Four years ago we opened with the dream of creating a little gathering place to enjoy good food and good company. You have helped us realize our dream, and we wish to thank you by providing our very best hospitality, ambiance and flavor. We came here from Ischia, Italy to share our passion for creating wholesome Italian Cuisine from our own family traditions. In return, you made us feel like a part of a big happy family here, so we don't miss our Ischia so much. My father created the sculpture of the enchanted Castle Aragonese on our wall to remind us of the beautiful place we were born and raised. Over the last four years, our dreams have come true. We remember each of our customers with fondness, we enjoy every evening that you spend with us, and we feel very lucky to have such a wonderful family of patrons. We arrived early Saturday evening without a reservation. We were seated at a smaller table, but had room for 4 dinners. We had the lasagna, chicken scallopini, shrimp and pasta. All servings were filling and excellent tasting. Service was quick. We had the almond tiramisu which was excellent as well. Excellent prices for menu items. Nightly specials are slightly more. As this is a relatively small restaurant I definitely would recommend reservations.

EGGS-TRAordinary Breakfast and Lunch Cafe is located in Mama Leone's Plaza. Serving Breakfast and Lunch all day. Hours: 7am to 3pm EVERY DAY
Everything here is first rate. This breakfast and lunch restaurant is in the same building with Mama Leone's. I have Berry Crepes and my friend had lobster bisque at noon on Saturday. There was a very short wait. We all licked our platters clean except a couple who took home boxes. The sandwiches are large and can be ordered with soup. If you have room for dessert, that is excellent also. And all this for under $10 per person -- drinks are extra but the Bloody Mary was worth it.
