Restaurant and watch original to eat a good rice by the sea , enjoying both the traditional cuisine of avant-garde creations As without losing Mediterranean roots .
My friend and I visited Puerta Del Sol for dinner when we were staying in Oropesa for the Benicassim festival. The food was delicious, service was brilliant - they even called a taxi to help us get to the festival! The restaurant is really lovely inside and has a fantastic view. We also had a couple of delicious gin and tonics which they came and made at our table for us after our meal - very nice! The fact they have an english menu was also very helpful. Thankyou to the restaurant for our favourite meal of the holiday.

Whilst staying in Oropesa we were advised to eat here if we wanted a real food experience.
We were not advised wrong... Paco is a wonderful host..and his staff also.
We left the whole menu to Paco, including the wine and he chose with great passion and an insight of what fish we would like. His menu is amazing, his presentation fantastic, his service first class.
Not one fault on our whole experience. Our only problem is we can not visit here every week, unless we fly from the UK.
So a very big Thank you to Paco and all his staff for a wonderful evening.

A Sea of Tapas closes its doors by end of season. See you in the spring of 2017. Regards.
The fish in the oven and the salads are the best. The fish is fresh and the Resturant is for those who are healthy eaters. The salad had seeds are raisins. I will defiantly go back again It's very close to the beach too.

Ordered three pizzas to take away on a Saturday evening. Because we ordered before 8.30pm we were able to take advantage of the special buy a large pizza for the price of a small one offer. We went to this restaurant to order so had to wait 45 minutes for our pizzas to be freshly made, which gave us the chance to pop to nearby Concha Beach for a pre-pizza drink. The pizzas we had were huge and delicious, with two of us failing to finish a whole ( the leftovers were just as yummy the following day). All in all we were very happy we had chosen this excellent family-run pizza restaurant for our takeaways rather than the more ubiquitous chains that tend to dominate in the area.

WOW! What a great meal! My wife and I ate at the Faro Real yesterday for lunch and we really had a good time and great meal. We had three appetizers Sepia(cuttlefish) chopped up in garlic, parsley, and olive oil, and Navajas( a "pocketknife" literal translation) a type of shell fish, and something else that was good but I don't remember the name, all were delicious. My wife had fish and I had a steak called "Entrecote" smothered in a creamy pepper sauce and it was delicious. Dessert was a couple of their homemade favorites, Copa and chocolate cake WOW they were really good. I almost ordered a second helping. We finished the meal in the Spanish tradition with a coffee my wife had a normal coffee but I had a local favorite called a "Carajillo". That was the best after dinner drink I have ever had period! The Faro Real is owner operated and they actually came by and asked us about the meal and our stay in Spain. Both Inma and Gustavo are very nice people and have a great restaurant we will come back!

Definitely a place where to go … it looks like a bar, but it serves high quality food!
I probably would't have stopped if I hadn't read reviews.
Tapas are simply great, extremely fresh fish and very generous portions!
A bit difficult to communicate as none of the waitresses speaks English, but they are extremely kind and do their best to make you feel at ease!

Italian gelateria. We make our own gelati and sorbets in a traditional way at our cosy gelateria by Playa de la Concha in Oropesa del mar. We take great care of the quality of our products and are proud of our close and friendly service. Just pop in and enjoy our sunlight Terrace just a few meters from the sea!
Stayed in Oropesa for a few days and didn't miss one night at Gelateria Fiorentina. Oropesa really diserved such a place with excellent Italian Gelato, Espresso Coffee and excellent breakfast (pastry and more). Their Pan Tumac is excellent. The location is also perfect near the Playa de la Concha in a little crossroad street that gets pleasantly windy at night especially in hot summer nights. The owners will definitely make you feel welcomed.

Looking for a special restaurant to mark the end of our son's 10-day holiday with us, we were recommended Restaurant a Roda as a place locals frequent away from the more touristy venues along the seafront at nearby Concha Beach. We were pleased we followed the advice as our party of three enjoyed an excellent and reasonably priced dinner. We were particularly pleased that we were not the only diners, though being an out-of-season Thursday evening, it was still sparsely populated. Despite that the atmosphere was convivial and our waiter was welcoming and attentive, even though he couldn't speak English and our Spanish is virtually non-existent.
We chose our starters of calamares a la Romana, a house salad and a plate of Iberico ham but the waiter, noting that they were for us individually rather than for sharing, adjusted the portion sizes and prices to reflect this, which we thought showed excellent consideration for diners' needs. My son and I had entrecôte, which was huge and beautifully cooked and served in a sauce of our choosing. My wife also said her lemon sole was superb and she would definitely choose it again if we ever return. We were slightly disappointed that our first choice of wine was not available but the (cheaper) alternative was really delicious and quaffable so no complaints there. There was also no solomillo available and the waiter admitted the pudding menu was also a bit restricted, though the flan and tarta Santiago we had were home made and delicious. With drinks, including a large gin and tonic, a bottle of Rioja, mineral water and coffees, the total bill came to just over €112 which we all agreed was great value. Diners looking to get off the tourist track should certainly include Restaurant a Roda in their itinerary for an authentic taste of Spain. Muy bien.
