Opole Voivodeship, or Opole Province (Polish: województwo opolskie [vɔjɛˈvutstfɔ ɔˈpɔlskʲɛ], German: Woiwodschaft Oppeln), is the smallest and least populated voivodeship (province) of Poland. The province's name derives from that of the region's capital and largest city, Opole. It is part of Upper Silesia. A relatively large German minority lives in the voivodeship, with representatives in the Sejm.

Just ahead a lovely evening with my mum here. Two course meal with drink for around £30 isn't too bad. Food was really nice as was the beer. I saw elsewhere some accused staff of not being friendly, we found them anything but. Only minus is yes there was a lot of cigarette smoke, but hey it is part of the feel of Poland...

Our restaurant is located in an old-style boutique appartment building, just next to the river Odra, just a stones thorw from the town square (distance 250 m).The restaurant consists of three rooms. The first room is set in the ‘country style’ of an old Bavarian hut featuring antique dark-wood furniture. With lots of charming local bric-a-brac lying around giving off a simple country air, this room comfortably seats up to 40 guests with 9 tables to choose from as well as 6 places at the bar.For those of you who prefer a more elegant and private setting, we recommend the ‘Banquet Room’. Here the furnishings are based on neo-modern designs from the early 20th century, otherwise known as the ‘interwar period’. The trraditional white tablecloths, old family photos on white walls, and elegant period furniture create a cosy atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of an old grandmother’s dinning room. Incidentally ‘Starka’, our restaurants name, is actually an affectionate word for grandmother in Silesian, a dialect of the Polish Language.
Horrible service, very rude. I asked for wifi password and the black hair and sorty waiter almost spit in my face. Beer was very warm, unacceptable in a summer day. I ordered carpaccio and i have to say that smoked salmon from tesco is better. Trout was good at least. Well, wasn't a good experience and I don't know why because the place wasn't busy at all to staff had so disgraceful service.

This relatively new restaurant is located on Suchy Bor, a suburb of Opole, Poland. And here's why we are so excited to share this find: We were delighted to discover this absolute gem of a restaurant with great food, friendly service and a modern, clean atmosphere. Borowianka, located a short distance out of Opole in the suburb of Suchy Bor, serves exquisite food, moderately priced, in a very pleasant atmosphere. The owner, Peter, and his wife, Eva, preside over a restaurant that features a lighter, more fusion style cuisine while maintaining its roots in traditional Polish cooking. Savory salads and delectable entrées. We made this a regular pilgrimage during our stay in Opole and were never disappointed. This enthusiastic review is motivated only by our extreme satisfaction. We have no other connection. The address is Pawelety 15, Suchy Bor.
You really couldn't tell. Located in a heart of Suchy Bór, one of mamy villeages you pass by, some place that I wouldn't even acknowledge, yet...really nicely surprised.
Everything is a top notch:
Excellent service, smiley and efficient staff with a great knowledge of the menu.
The food was mouth-watering and flavoursome just delicious.
Designed with style, lot of delicate decoration, very cosy.
Definitely will come back, highly recommend!

Sushi there was quite good I would say, but already have ate better in my lifetime. In genreal is ok but fish there isn't yummy. Although I'm eating a lot of sushi and other Asian food, after eating some pieces with fish here I get sick.

This 'Milk Bar' is a staple in any Polish city. The quality of Polish snack food here is outstanding. Great pierogi and soups are available at a price of a Sandwich you can fill yourself up and insulate yourself against the Polish winter. The only problem with the place is getting a seat, such is the popularity.

A lot of people write in their reviews about pancakes. Obviously, they are not pancakes but crepes. Two totally different things. It is a very popular spot in Opole, beautifully situated by the river. The place can be packed with people, service has some flaws, but overall experience is positive. They serve all kinds of crepes, savory and sweet. Crepes are not as thin and crispy as their French originals but tasty enough to come back for more. It is many people's favorite place to eat lunch. Iconic place in Opole.

I have heard a lot about this place so me and my boyfriend have decided to get there to celebrate our anniversary. We have ordered pizza which was delicious. However, the service was really bad - it caused our dinner to be less enjoybale. The waiters were unkind and we had to come to them to ask for menu and bill - other guests were also complaining abut the service.

Laba- unique place, located in the middle of Bolko Island. For our guest we propose delicious food, cold and hot drinks (especially freshly brewed coffee from Kofi Brand) and something a little stronger. We serve a different kind of beverages for athletes, picnic baskets and take-out food for walkers. Laba is adapted for disabled, prams (baby changing table and diapers are provided). During a rainy weather our guest could use covered parking for bicycles. When the sun is shining, we recommend to drink our home-made lemonade on 2 beautifully situated piers. You could find us on Alternative Maps of Opole.
Nice place for meeting in summer days with a friends. They have the movie evening where you can relax, drink and watch the movie outdoor on large screen. Great idea. The food is ok, shrimps with lemon and nudels is very nice if you like exotic cusine. The cakes can be better, they are just average. What bothers me is the staff. And that is not comment regarding one person bur more on less overall attitude. It's rather expenive plce so I would expect more care about the customers. What I'm missing recently is the Raciborz beer that I like a lot. Please bring Raciborz back!

My husband and I made last minute Reservations to eat here the night before New Years Eve. So glad we got a table, because the food and atmosphere were so nice! The only bad thing was something the restaurant couldn't control; a huge family group had several tables behind us and the parents were letting the kids run around and act like little jerks. Things improved a ton once they left.
We split three starters- the grilled vegetables (best I've ever had in my life), focaccia (shaped like a pizza and very fresh and large), and the salmon tartare (delicious). For mains, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara (good but nothing special) and my husband ordered tiger prawns (he raved about them). We also split dessert, but I could have eaten it by myself. It was the Semifreddo, cinnamon ice cream with strawberry sauce... so good and a modest portion.
The service here was excellent and the prices were even better. We ordered all of that food, a carafe of wine, a beer, a water, and juice for less than 50€. We've been to Italy several times and this place rivals a lot of the places we visited there. I've been coming to Opole for years, and am sad that we only discovered this place now! Can't wait to go back and try some more items from the large menu.

I like to eat in manekin chain restaurants. They always serves top quality food for very low price. This time i order small bottle of home wine (15 zloty, about 3.5 euro) and indian pancake (with oven-baked option). Baked pancake will not taste like pancake, it more like a lassagna. It even tastes better than lasagna, you should definetly try this one with cheese on top.
