Since 1978, Fire Sign Cafe has been a family owned and operated Breakfast and Lunch restaurant. We pride ourselves on our extensive menu, full of homemade food. Our restaurant has been a local favorite since it opened. It has been featured in several publications such as Sunset Magazine, as well as shown on Rachael Ray's, "Tasty Travels". Our great service and even better food are what keep people coming back!
We stopped for lunch at this charming restaurant during a trip to Tahoe. Everything was delicious--fresh and homemade. My husband had the Reuben sandwich and I had a black bean burger, both specialties of the cafe. Definitely a recommended lunch stop while in the area!

Tahoe House Bakery is a must if you have a sweet tooth. I had the chocolate filed croissant which was worth every calorie. My had an almond paste filled croissant which she already informed me we MUST go back for again. They have other things to eat also, but we did not try them out. My kids were happy with the cookies. The fresh baked breads looked great. Reasonably priced too. Definitely a busy place, but the line moves quickly. Highly recommend.

We had a great time per usual. The food is great with the lobster being a highlight. The s’mores dessert was beyond delicious and I am already dying to go back. Our waiter Cliff was phenomenal... we had a small issue with the meal and he made sure to make sure everything came out perfectly. He had the perfect balance between taking care of us and making us feel like you’re dining with friends. We highly recommend Six Peaks!

I was delighted to find a branch of Coffeebar at the Squaw Valley ski resort. I enjoyed the coffee, but it wasn’t quite as good as the same drink I had in the Reno branch. It also didn’t have the same vibe as the Reno & Truckee branches, but it wouldn’t take a lot to get it up to scratch. I was very impressed that they have a free water refill station for anyone (not just paying customers) to use.

Good food, great view, fabulous servers and Robin, the owner always seems to be there.
We love this place for a special occasion. The view is fine, outdoor summer seating and the food is always great. Good wine list, not too overpriced.
Wait staff is always responsive. We return often. Our favorite place on the North Sore and Truckee

Fireside Pizza Co. is the brainchild of long time friends Ray Villaman and Ted Kennedy. Ray is a 20 year restaurant veteran including - California Pizza Kitchen, Boston Market, the California Restaurant Association and even a short time as President of Blimpies. Ray also had a ton of help from his Father in Law Rich who remains to this day a vital part of the restaurant management team. You may see the big, smiling fella working with the dough in the back or out front with the guests.Other help came from Mark Wheeler, Scott Kennedy and of course Ray's lovely wife Chris and their two sons Jacob and Nicholas. We hope that you enjoy this family creation - combined with some great investors and friends - all wrapped together to bring you the Fireside Pizza Company. We've won a ton of awards for our fresh, unique pizza - but the best award is still when you tell us or your friends that you had an excellent experience here - thanks so much.Sincerely,Fireside Pizza
We eat here often after skiing. A bottle of wine. Mediterranean pizza with added chicken. Sitting outdoors. What a great way to enjoy Squaw Valley, the scenery and good food. Staff is always friendly on top
Of everything. The pizza is good the wine beer great. And you can’t best the putdoor setting.

We stopped here for lunch and ordered one of many bowls that they had made with quinoa instead of rice, it was well very good. There sandwiches were also good. I highly recommend it for lunch. Plenty of vegetarian options.

This place had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The food is just insanely good. But almost more than the food, I can't say enough good things about the owner. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. My wife and I were in late for dinner and he and his staff were more than accommodating, even helped call a shuttle from our hotel at the end of our meal to make sure we got back safely.

We weren't even half-way through our salads when our waiter brought our main course. Prompt service is good; rushed because the kitchen is anticipating a larger crowd is unacceptable. Fortunately our server handled our request to re-fire the meals. Unfortunately, my wife's salad, mixed greens, was almost inedible due to more than wilted lettuce.
Again, our server handled it well, removing charges for both salads and comping dessert. Our main courses, pork chop and salmon, were very good. We ended up having a fine time, due in large part to the way our server handled negative events.
