The city was named after fearless fur-trader and adventurer, Peter Skene Ogden, who explored the untamed area in the 1820s. Since then, Ogden has seen poverty and prosperity, conflict and celebration. Today, although a more subdued and modern place, the city is still big on action and adventure the whole family can enjoy. Take the kids to ogle the more than 100 life-size replicas of pre-historic creatures at the Ogden Dinosaur Park and Museum. Or head to the Tree House Museum, one of the best of its kind in the U.S. Adults will find plenty to enjoy on local golf courses or hiking trails in the summer, and everyone will love the local winter ski resorts. A grand old depot, Union Station is a must see for history buffs and anyone interested in trains and railroads. Be sure to stroll along 25th Street downtown. This historic block was the center of activity in the early 20th-century and is home to many restored buildings from the railroad era. The street also boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants, one-of-a kind shops, antique stores and art galleries.

Having chosen to dine here based primarily on good TA reviews, I can't say I was surprised at how good Tona was. But I was kinda surprised at how good it was. First rate sushi both fresh and creative. The only problem was that I was solo and didn't get to sample as much of the menu as I would have liked to!
Will definitely return next time I'm in Ogden. And would consider going out of my way if I was in SLC!

Lasagna was good, house salad pretty basic, Mint Julip and Manhattan were ok though the Dirty Martini was small but very good.. , GF pasta cooked perfectly and clams in butter sauce was very good. Rolls were amazing. Tiramisu and irish coffee was delightful. Staff very friendly and efficient. No booths, not very cushy just tables and chairs. We will be back. There are several other menu items we look forward to trying.

We serve Artisan Style from scratch pizza's, sandwiches, Apps, Salads, Desserts, and Brunch Items. We offer over 100 different bear choices, 14 wines by the glass, and 24 bottle wine choices. We are located on the banks of the Ogden river and have live local music Fri, Sat, and Sundays.
First off if you like buffalo wings, Nates wings are so good! I make the 30 minute drive just for those sometimes! Otherwise the pizza selection they have is so diverse like a mac and cheese pizza or a tikka masala pizza (both of which are mouthwatering). Then you have the actual BOOK of beers. This place is great on a weekend night, when they are playing live music and you can have any beer (or a few) of your choosing... If you are in the area, GO.. and go now!

Windy's Sukiyaki is a casual Japanese restaurant in Ogden Utah. We are loved for a variety of made to order sushi rolls, delicious sukiyaki, homemade gyoza, donburi, ramen, udon, tempura and juicy steak and much more. When you walk into the restaurant, you have a choice of dining in the cozy cafe style open room or in a super unique private tea room (yes, we ask you to take your shoes off.) Our friendly staff will serve you with the smile whether you are on a date or going out as a family, either way, it's a perfect choice. Windy's Sukiyaki has been operating since 1974, we can't thank enough our loyal customers who support us all these years.
Yesterday, I wrote a review about this restaurant and as pointed out, in that review, it had been some time since I had been there and that I would probably try it again. I did and here is the most current information:
We arrived without a reservation and asked for a tea room. They accommodated us. Unless you don't mind sitting at old tables in a room with very little atmosphere, you should get a tea room.
We were seated promptly. After about 5 minutes, the server poked her head through the curtains and said she would be right with us. After about 5 minutes more, she did the same thing. Then in about 5 minutes, she came back to take our order. In defense of the server; I really don't think they had more on staff and she did the best she could and she was very pleasant too.
The menu has changed a bit, from the last time I was there. Now there is a lot of the sushi rolls. I think they are trying to compete with the other sushi places that do things on the cheap. They have added, and have always had, more upscale items on the menu.
I will start with stating that all of our food was delicious! To begin, we had the tempura vegetables , which they offer with octopus too. My wife is a vegetarian, so that was out of the question for sharing.
I do not recall what my wife had. I do know that she liked it. After the tempura vegetables, I ordered their seared tuna. I also upgraded my meal to include soup, salad and desert. The tuna was prepared perfectly, presented perfectly and was a much larger portion than I expected for only $16.00. The upgrade added about $7.00 to the cost of my meal. Total with tax and a generous tip, we spent slightly less than $60.00, for two people. In my mind, that is reasonable, if not a good price.
I still think they need to update the interior with some fresh paint & carpet. They should also turn on the outdoor lights, after dark, so we can gaze out at their gardens.
Will I go back??? Absolutely!

Convenient after a movie across the street. I ate here a few years ago, it was better then. I had the shrimp tacos with rice which were good but as a foodie, nothing exciting. The free chips are hard and boring. Two sauces are provided, the tomatillo was fine, but don't like the smokey red.

I can't speak for lunch or dinner but the the breakfasts are the best. Bring a hearty appetite as the portions are for a bonafide lumberjack. I am not sure if the breakfast that I order is called the Lumberjack breakfast but that is what I call it. (It might be called Jeremiahs Breakfast or something). Either way it is worth the drive if live far away from the restaurant.

We go for the great food, the great Brews made on premises and to enjoy walking down 25th street afterwards.

Pretty good pizza! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with a large order of breadsticks. Everything was handmade and hand tossed, not like a cookie cutter type pizza joint. Service was also pretty friendly, and the interior was pretty trendy and kitschy. Seating is limited on the inside, however, I think I do remember they offer outdoor seating as well.

Located on historic 25th Street in Ogden, Pig & A Jelly Jar restaurant serves a fresh, from scratch menu with a unique twist on comfort food.
The atmosphere and wait staff were fabulous but the food I had was tasteless and nothing I couldn’t make at home. It’s totally worth a single visit for sure but I don’t think I’ll return. I had the sausage gravy over biscuits and somehow I only got a sweet gravy over biscuits and the sausage wasn’t invited or was boycotting my meal or something. My wife had the kitchen sink scramble which was described as a mixed hamlet but from its look I couldn’t bring myself to sample it and she described it as “nothing to write home about”
