In Ocean City, Maryland's only coastal community, the beach is the main attraction. Stroll the three-mile Boardwalk along the seafront while sampling salt water taffy and other old-fashioned treats. The summer season explodes with special concerts, beach bonfires and kids' activities. Nature enthusiasts will love nearby Assateague Island, home to deer and wild ponies. Once a tiny fishing village, it now spans 10 miles, but anglers still flock to the area waters; it's known as the White Marlin Capital of the World.

Everything here is amazing. Doesn't look like much from the outside it's in the corner of a strip plaza but all the locals are OK with everybody being fooled because we like to keep it to ourselves:)
If you do stumble upon this place or try it out you will not be disappointed. Great prices, great quality of food, everything tastes amazing. They do only carry beer and wine however don't look for spirits here.
Nice indoor and outdoor seating good for couples and families. Great lunch specials as well.

An absolute escape from Ocean City. A place to indulge in inventive American cuisine and mouthwatering seafood while overlooking one of the most picturesque views you have ever laid eyes on. If you're looking to simply come in for some appetizers and a few cocktails our bartenders make great company at the bar that maintains the same breathtaking views. So next time you're wondering where to go to enjoy an exceptional meal, stop by The Hobbit and step into a classy, sleak, but most importantly comfortable world of dining excellence. We are located in the bottom floor of the Rivendell Condominium at 81st on the Bay and we offer our full menu daily beginning at 5 p.m.
After 2 different Uber drivers named this place as one of their favorite restaurants we decided to give it a try. Sunday night in the off-season was not crowded and we didn't need a reservation. The hostess greeted us at the door which was very welcoming. The floor to ceiling windows were impressive with a great view of the marsh. There was no sunset due to the cloud cover, but it was pretty just the same. Now for the food.... we are not big eaters, so no appetizer or salad for us - just the entrees and dessert, and a cocktail. The grapefruit juice in my drink tasted fresh squeezed and was delicious. Hubby was happy with his Guinness. The entrees were pricey but the quality was worth it. Crab cakes at $39 that night were all crab - no filler. I am not fond of Old Bay seasoning so I should have told them not to use it, but the flavor of the crab still came through. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it were perfectly prepared and delicious. Hubby got the salmon dish - I think it was prepared with squash, potatoes and a balsamic glaze, but it was also well prepared and he thourally enjoyed it. Mary's Delight for dessert was definitely a delight! Advertised as their speciality it did not disappoint. Walnut crust with pudding and cheesecake with whipped cream was light and very yummy. Our server was very attentive but not overly so. If we come back to OCMD I would definitely eat here again. Dinner for 2 with one drink each and dessert was $110 + tip.

This is the 30th anniversary of Sahara Cafe. Typical American diner food, open for breakfast and lunch only. It's clean, it's a diner, it's quirky. Grateful Dead posters on the walls. The best beer and wine selection in Ocean City!!! The deli is stocked full of your favorite Boar's Head deli meat, and the sandwiches they make are just the best!!!
This is a deli that makes oversized sandwiches and subs. They are a bit pricey but share one. Great stop on your way to the beach. I enjoyed the shrimp salad Sandwich on wheat bread.

It was just after breakfast - too soon for even a mid-morning snack - but the stand was open, the fries were sending out their peanut-oiled aroma, and I just had to stop and get my Thrasher's fix. Salted and vinegared, my wife and I took special care not to lose ANY to the pigeons and gulls hungrily eyeing our treat. It was hot, salty, vinegary, just the way I love them. I was now free to proceed to enjoy Ocean City MD.

Surf themed Cafe open for lunch and dinner. Our all-day menu includes gourmet burgers, authentic Baja-style tacos, innovative sandwiches, a unique veggie menu and entree salads. The dinner menu features fresh local seafood, steaks & more. Full bar with a two-for-one happy hour in the off-season from 5 to 6pm. Open 7 days - Mon-Sat open 11am for Lunch and Dinner, open Sunday 10:00am-2pm for Brunch, lunch & dinner.
The lump crab cakes and crispy duck were excellent... best duck I ever had. Sauce for the crab cake was a little too hot, so get it on the side. The atmosphere is unique and up-beat. Service is quick and excellent. Menu prices are in the $20-$30's for main courses, and drinks, appetizers, salads, etc. are plus or minus $10 so a couple can expect a bill plus or minus $100. But, it is worth the money!

This restaurant is a small place started in 1954. It serves great food from the old car hop/drive in days.... Best roast beef in town, sandwiches that are freshly prepared, fresh cut fries... A little slice of heaven when at the beach!!!
We have tried multiple carry outs in OC in our decades of being here. Anthony's is by far the best. They use quality meats, and their subs/sandwiches are packed. My favorite is the roast beef sub with cheddar cheese and horseradish sauce. My family loves their cold cut. Anthony's is a little pricey, however I would rather pay more and have a great sub, than pay less and have a mediocre one. We are always sorry when they close for the season!

Breakfast and lunch Open for the season 2017 vegan and vegetarian options. 18th street ocean side steps off the boardwalk
We stumbled across this place when we were looking for something on the boardwalk that is not junk food. The food here is fresh and wonderful. Service is always pleasant and quick. We especially love breakfast - terrific fresh fruit, yummy omelets, great waffles, good home fries and a fabulous bagel, egg, avocado, cream cheese sandwich. The only odd thing is that they serve a cheap imitation syrup instead of real maple syrup--everything else is so good we couldn't understand this oddity. But we still go back almost every day when we're in OC.
For wheelchair users, note that the deck has a ramp, but you have to enter indoor restaurant from the rear, and the restrooms are not accessible. I just make sure to take care of things before I eat here.

"Best dinner out experience !!" My favorite place to go out for either just cocktails or dinner. It's an experience like no other. Great concept!! They always have new specials and of course the famous cheese plates... A must try... Anne-Marie M, Ocean City
This is our favorite place to go in Ocean City and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious. The drinks are creative and served in the prettiest glasses. They don't take reservations but it's worth the wait. The wagyu beef burger is out of this world!
