The 58 Drive-In has some of the greatest burgers and fries in the state! Their burgers are fresh ground beef, the fries are skin-on crinkle cut from fresh potatoes and they taste it! Also, milkshakes are all Umpqua ice cream, so you know you're getting the best. The prices are a little on the high side, but you get your money's worth!

I have finally learned my lesson Dairy Queens are really good for ice cream dishes. But the food is just not very good. For some dumb reason I decided to stop on my way to Central OR. I ordered a chili cheeze hot dog. I took one bite of the dog and knew it had been there a while. Simply had a strange taste. Decided one bite was enough.
Noticed that the place had a strange design flaw. The self service soda machine was in a narrow space where most of the traffic goes through to get to the tables. It is a mess with people running into each other.
Next time I just drive by which is difficult as this is the only one of two fast food places in town. Next time I will try the A&W.

Great place for your caffeine fix. They do a great job of preparation and presentation . Also have a large variety of flavors all at a reasonable price. They do open early about 5:00 AM I believe.

The Brewers Union Local 180, Oregon's only Real Ale Pub and Brewery, is a blend of the best of the British Public House, the American spirit of adventure, and the natural scenic beauty of Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Situated in the center of Oakridge, which along with it's neighboring city of Westfir are the only cities in Oregon completely surrounded by National Forest, you will find a throwback to when the community gathered regularly to share news, when beer was brewed in the back of the pub and pulled from the cellar out of a cask, and when the weary traveler found a cozy nook and a good meal. The Local 180 aspires to be neither a restaurant nor a bar, neither a coffeeshop nor a pool hall. You won't find any gambling machines, overbearing television sets, or blaring piped-in music. Better yet, expect to find yourself a comfortable spot in the quiet front parlor, enjoy a cup or two of good coffee and a good book, or show off battle-scars from that last downhill ride in the public bar over a pint of cask conditioned ale. You will not be processed through the typical restaurant theater, but instead you can stay as long as you wish, right up to the last orders bell.
The British Ale is worth a stop. The food on the other hand is average at best. I had the fish and chips. The fish was good, batter was greasy as were the fries. My husband had the burger
and Poutine fries. Cheese curds were not melted and the mushroom gravy not very good.
Stop for the funky place and ale!

I have traveled to China and can cook my own Chinese food, so I am always reluctant to eat at a Chinese restaurant. We stopped here on our way to Crater Lake and we're both VERY impressed with the food! I have never had such good beef with broccoli in America. If you're passing through town, definitely stop here for a meal!

This place was recommended by a local store clerk. Boy were we greatful. This was authentic Mexican food with real Mexican decor and Mexican hospitality. What a gem in an otherwise uneventful town. Very reasonably priced too!

This place was recommended by a local person and we wanted to try it out. We were so pleased. The food and service were excellent. Seems to be a place the locals frequent. Prices were very reasonable. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

We found this place on our last morning after our stay at Casey's Riverside RV Park. Brisket Hash with eggs and amazing biscuits, homemade Marion berry jam; and a piece of pie to go!! The rest of the menu looks tasty too. Rustic decor, outdoor seating and a beer garden in back.

Uptown Bistro offers wood fired pizza, salads, snacks and desserts. We serve beer, wine, soda, and coffee or tea.
The patio is a wonderful place to spend an evening. Salmon is terrific. Yummy burgers. Wonderful salads. Nice wine and beer list. Wait staff pleasant and efficient. Whole heartedly recommend this place. Don't waste time trying to get mediocre food at the brew pub and stop in here. They're open Thursday through Sunday.
