We drove two hours from home to look at a car, only so we could get to PT's. Don't know what the "PT" stands for, but it should be "Perfect Tenderloin." My whole family looks for excuses to travel that direction just to eat there.

Saw the sign on the highway advertising DQ. I was so excited. Several days of road travel led me to crave something other than the typical fast food. When we arrived at the DQ which is in the petro station discovered a sign that says for service go to Wendy's. The line there is 8 deep, but I'm wanting my DQ fix. So I wait in line. When it's my turn the order taker says step over to DQ and someone will be over. When I start my order I'm told we don't have that. Now I've just given up my place in line to order what they don't have. I've wasted nearly a half hour and according to this order taker need to get back in line at Wendy's if I want something from there. No thanks! Never is a long time, but I can wait that long before ever returning to the restaurant or gas station. There are too many choices in the area to subject myself to such poor service.

This place is very popular, and I know people who drive out of their way to eat here. I live nearby, but rarely eat here. When you order a sandwich, the put the sandwich together, then microwave it. To me, that sometimes makes the bun squishy, and sometimes the meat a bit dry. The ribs are pretty good. The fries are awesome, hand cut and double fried. Definitely worth trying, maybe you'll like it more than I do.

We have over 75 different varieties of donuts. Some of our most popular products include: our famous Ray’s Original Glazed donuts, Apple Spice Cake donuts, Apple Fritters, Bavarian Cream filled Bizmarks, Chocolate-iced LaMar’s Bars, Buttermilk Bars, French Cruellers, Cinnamon Twists and Cinnamon Rolls.

Our coffee menu includes fresh-brewed coffee and lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, tea and smoothies at select locations.
Doesn't get much better! Excellent service, even with a long wrap-around line in the store. Helpful ladies at the beautiful donut case. And the donuts...you name, they have it, and so FRESH! Every bite melted in your mouth! To our surprise the gentleman paid for our Donuts, and we were so humbled by his generosity!
The inside of this store seriously reminded me of Garretts Popcorn shops in the Chicago area...long lines, but steady moving, beautiful lighting, and decor. The founder who's picture was near the do it should be so proud! LaMars donuts are divine!

A nice clean location. Almost hard to see in the gas station mini mall. Thank goodness for the huge sign above the gas pumps. Friendly service great ice cream. And easy to get to off of 70.p

I had the 3-meat combo platter, which is a great value at $17. Ribs were best. Burnt ends avg - tasted more like roast beef than smoked. Sausage is good, but I prefer Italian style rather than this, which tends to hot-dog style. Less than stellar beans and potato salad. Value and good service lets them squeak in with a VG rating.

Lets face it, in our country, Mexican places have the same casual style. There is not much they do – or can do?- to differentiate themselves. This place is one of the better ones I have been to. My chicken fajitas were excellent, and easily enough to eat for $14. Started with the ‘required’ complimentary chips and salsa – which would not rate as the best I’ve had. But Wide open space, quick service and dos equis amber lets them sneak in with my coveted excellent rating.

I come here from Independence at least twice a month. I order their short-rib plate and a side order of either beans or cole slaw. Wonderfully delicious! If you like BBQ, this is the place to go! This is a really family friendly place and the repeat customers are evidence of this. One can get plates or sandwiches Ample parking space. Well worth a visit..

First night in town for family reunion and we heard this place was good. Clearly we was not impressed what so ever. Everything was plopped on our plates and on top of each other... was a gross mess. Nachos so soggy .. Tostadas soggy.. why put something crunchy on the bottom of everything :/ don't even get me started on that sad excuse of a tamale and the bland salsa. We definitely wont be back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in for a late breakfast today. Wow, I can't say enough about it. The hash browns were perfectly done, the eggs were great and the bacon was done to perfection. Prices are reasonable. The waitress was friendly and efficient and kept hubbies coffee filled. The decor is like a 50s diner. Everything was just perfect.
