We stopped here after our meetings based on the reviews we read. The place is nicely, uniquely decorated. Cozy booths and tables available for sitting. We were seated right away. The food was very good. I have Chicken salad and the chicken pot pie soup. Both were very good. My co-worker has the Scottish salmon and he thought it was very good. I also tried the vanilla vodka and cranberry drink, it was nice and refreshing. If we are in the area again, I would eat here again.

Adirondack-style eatery with handcrafted pool table, TVs, meat-centric menu, large patio & baked-to-order cookies. Brunch and FREE cookies on Sundays. Eat local or die.
Wide ranging menu here. They can whip up something from the Vegan, to the Fat, THICK steak eater. Our crew went for Salmon, Meatloaf, ENDLESS Mac & FISH, and I settled onto a RIBEYE, Medium Well. The black side bread was nice, ACTUAL BUTTER! Salad and a Baked potato finished my main course. All of us were treated to cookies, afterwards too!

I had breakfast there early this morning. It was my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very trendy with a 10 foot glass enclosed gas fireplace and all sorts of tables and benches in various configurations. There is also a deli counter in back for carry out.
My server was Luis and he was excellent. I had the Hamtramck eggs Benedict with homemade sausage on a sourdough roll that was toasted. You could not improve upon it. The presentation value was five-star.
The room was light and airy with plenty of sunlight streaming through the windows. I thought the food was reasonably priced for the value and coupled with the excellent service, I would definitely give toasted oak five star rating and will return. My compliments to the staff!

Never disappointed. Usually a wait, but we were lucky to get right in. Such a special treat for breakfast! Service by all is always with a smile and sincere. Food always great! Whenever I have the opportunity to meet anyone for breakfast, this is the place to impress. Everything is tasty, couldn’t pick my favorite meal. To top it off the bill is served up with fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate.

This place is great. Since we are from out of town we didn't know anything about the restaurants in the area. The first night we sat at the bar and had food from the bar menu. The lamb ribs were delicious. My wife ordered the Chile relano and liked it. She likes her food hot and the relano was all the heat she could handle. The bartenders make excellent drinks. The wine list is short but reasonable with a few interesting bottles. We enjoyed it so much we made reservations for the next night
We got there early to walk around Northville and shop a bit. Because it was holloween season each store had a skeleton outside their door dressed up to match the stores theme. Very imaginative and great for the kids.
There is a nice patio to dine or just sit and people watch
We had a drink on the patio then sat inside for dinner. Our server, Corey, was great attentive without being pushy. It was a Friday so the place was filled but you could still carry on a conversation without yelling.
I. Had the scallop and my wife had the halibut. Both cooked perfectly. If we get back to Northville again we will definitely eat here again

The food is usually good except for the last time I dined in, there was a huge strand of hair in my soup. It was pretty obvious, I'm not sure how the waitstaff didn't find it. Food and service are still great, this last experience...MoreHello. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to give us your feedback. We apologize for your dining experience not meeting your expectations. We are taking your concerns into deep consideration and will ensure these things will not happen again.

The perfect steak! Medium well New York strip. Appetizer the gumbo although l was lucky as it’s not on every day.
They are busy and there can be a wait. The bar is a good place for a drink/cocktail.
I would wait for a table I find the bar and bar tables too busy

Based on reviews my wife and I visited here on a Saturday evening. We thought we would be early (4:45pm) but the place was full and remained that way while we were were there. Excellent menu, wine and service. Between us we had Momma Changs Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Seafood Fried Rice and Beef/asparagus. All were excellent and in sufficient quantity to take some home. Definitely going back. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more, but they turn over the tables quickly. You don't feel rushed, but everything is done so quickly and efficiently that you're just finished earlier than you thought you would be. Wine prices are a lot better than you find in most restaurants and my wife thought they made an excellent Lemon Drop martini (one of her basic tests of a restaurant).

Excellent lounge with great drinks and fast service. Chicken marsala was very tender. Bread was perfect, dirty martini was spot on.

We selected this as top of the tripadvisor list, being in Novi for business. All japanese personnel, do not serve alcohol, and many japanese people eating at the table...a good sign for good japanese food. We had to wait 5 minutes to be seated, then service was fast.
Noodle soup was exactly as i tasted it many times in Japan and the sushi was tender and super well prepared.
Top!!!
