Blueberry Hill is set on a hilltop overlooking Nottingham Road with 360 degree views and the most amazing views of the Drakensberg. It is a beautiful property with a highly regarded Lifestyle Gift Shop next door.
Gone downhill since last visit. Poor service. Messed up our order. Limited stock in shop. Looking a bit grubby. Coffee pretty good.

This venue is situated directly across the road from the popular Piggly Wiggly in the Lidgeton/Lions River area, so is very easy to find when meandering along the R103. Set in beautiful and well manicured grounds with a small dam near the restaurant, there is also has plenty of shaded parking. We were greeted and seated immediately by very friendly staff and placed at a table out near the water. The weather was glorious, warm and balmy so we did sit in an uncovered area but there is plenty of covered Seating too. The view across the water and the buck and zebra grazing nearby was also delightful. We ordred pizzas as we wanted something relatively light after come from an olive & cheese tasting, and we certainly were not disappointed. Although we opted for soft drinks and didn't order the craft beers that were on offer, they did appear to be a big hit with all the other patrons there. St Ives is in a lovely setting, with excellent food and good service. Worth popping in

Winner of the Cappuccino Competition in 2012
I ordered a prego steak roll and got the blandest steak roll ever. There was not a single drop of sauce on the steak and calling it a prego would be horrible. But friends ordered the eggs benedict with creamed spinach and enjoyed it. Personally the hollandaise sause on it seemed clumpy and we did not recieve it served on an english muffin. But since it was a nice visit I would rate it average but needs work as got potential.

Wow this place really has something for everyone. The shopping is interesting as they have all sorts of goodies under one roof. A great butchery, delicious biltong, pies, homemade confectionary, clothing, and all sorts of things for the home and garden. Hard to leave here empty handed.

Cafe Bloom at Gowrie Village is a splendid establishment. It is an authentic country cafe with good food and friendly people. It’s not a large place so do not expect crowds. The fare is focused on organic and sustainable local produce. My finicky family enjoyed a long breakfast in the back kitchen garden surrounded by beautiful trees and hedges and came away without a single negative sentiment. An unsolicited bowl of water for our two dogs made sure that everyone was happy.
The prices are reasonable and the coffee is great! My sort of place!

The place was impossible to find. Had to use 2 gps's to get here. Staff were super unfriendly and down right cold, like the weather. Menu had almost zero option for non meat eaters. Capuccino was from a robotic machine. Would never come back!

We had lunch here - group of six, so had a varied menu. Prices are not cheap, especially the breakfasts. We had butternut soup which was very average, hamburgers, Greek salad and chicken burgers. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, despite there only being about 4 other tables being served. I eventually signaled the waiter and asked where our food was. The food was "okay" but did not match the prices and I thought for a very popular tourist stop, it needs to be improved.

Small family restaurant in the centre of Nottingham Road behind the Spar supermarket. We serve everything from full English breakfasts, toasted sandwiches, burgers and chips, Banting and Gluten free Burgers, light lunches, curries, pancakes, waffles, Gluten free waffles, cake, scones and fabulous milkshakes and assorted drinks. We are not licenced but can arrange glasses and ice if you bring along your own wine.
