Went with friends to dine. 6 o'clock reservation. 8:30 meals deleivered. No explaination, they just kept bringing bread...and bottles of wine at 3-4x retail. Food was pretty good, service...even besides the delay was average at best. There was obviously a kitchen issue, just would have been nice to know. Or at least not be ignored.

It was my "go to" DD, no matter the time the products were always fresh, coffee very good too. Service was excellent, but something has changed, not so good anymore. Twice I got stale stuff, donut, muffin.

I have been going to the Canova empire of restaurants for 30+ years. When I have a business meeting for lunch, I will always come here. I am addicted to their shrimp scampi with their great home made breads.

First time here and loved it! Pretty small place and you could drive right by it. The two sandwiches I had were amazing and the service was top notch and super friendly. I will def be visiting here more often!

Running round with family on our annual Boston area visit -- and took grandson (Wheaton Coll student) out for brunch -- great varied menu -- great servers who paid great and courteous attention -- large portions and (why not?) doggie bags for the students. Weather permitting; try for an outdoor table -- lots of parking right next to the restaurant.

this is really just for a bar crowd, good for drinkers who want a burger, nacho's, fries, and sandwiches, that's it, that's who they cater too. not for families, or having a quite dinner, plus, the dinners border on poor quality, if you want to drink, and have potato skins, fries, or grab a burger, this is your place, it caters to a rowdy , loud , drinking crowd. not good for families, with kids, or, if you want a nice dinner, in a reasonably quite atmosphere.

The coffee is fresh and hot, the donuts are always fresh, the sandwiches are better than the competition, the owner will sit and talk to the customers. Get this.....he also helps out when they are busy. lol The locals and old timers in town will sometimes call it "The Town Hall".

Somewhat small but very good food and great service. May be that the feeling of being small is due to the popularity of this place. Great menu and reasonable prices.

I was here on business and had dinner there, then lunch the next day. The staff here are incredibly friendly. Good pizza, a great hot pastrami sandwich, and some of the best light batter onion rings you will ever taste. I eat here in the large comfortable bar, overlooking the lake.
