Our hotel was near by so we walked there during a snow storm on a Friday night. We were seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with suggestions. He even asked the chef to make pasta primavera for a friend. Servings are HUGE! I would definite recommend the half size. The gnocchi with pesto was delicious! Cocktails were a good pour too! If visiting Syracuse give a try!

Restaurant Hours May Vary On Holidays
Hubby and I tried Santangelo's for the first time today. I almost hate to share this gem with anyone.
It's a small restaurant, very homey-feeling. I'm not sure which was better, the server or the food.
Hubby absolutely loved their chicken parmesan. It was delicious and very tender.
I had fettuccini alfredo, which was also very tasty. I love tons of sauce and didn't even need to request extra. There was plenty.
The side salads that came with our meals weren't just from a bagged salad mix. I could make a meal from the salad alone, especially with their Italian dressing.
Brandi was our server and she was a fantastic part of our first experience at Santangelo's.

this place is a beehive of neighborhood activity . folks stopping by to grab fresh bread and pastries all day long. Their Italian cookies are amazing! The breads are to die for. The mini cream pies are unmatched!

Haven't been to Copper top in a while. We ordered at the bar because we didn't want to wait. Tasted some of their beer variety. One got Bangkok Bangkok Chicken and Shrimp. Though, he wished he'd ordered my Chicken Milanese because it was much better. Highly recommended!

next door to Red Roof Inn & Ramada Limited
We've been here twice this fall, on the recommendation of friends. Even my picky relatives enjoyed themselves. We ate down stairs on a very busy Friday night and upstairs on a relatively slow weekday evening. Our meals were well prepared and the service was excellent both times. Our friends were right. We'll definitely be back when we're in an Italian mood.

We saw this joint on an episode of Man vs Food a while back, and figured we should try it the next time we visited Syracuse. Liverpool is a suburb of Syracuse.
It’s a throwback drive-in 50’s diner kind of vibe, and the line up was long.
They have hotdogs (franks) and “coneys” (a kind of white dog that is neither traditional frank nor sausage). We tried both, including the “Double Dog” where they cram two franks or two coneys into a single bun, plus fries and drinks.
Overall the franks were pretty good and the Coneys weren’t bad (we found the Coneys to have a bit of an odd taste for a “hotdog”). We would order the franks only next time. The fries were crispy and hot. We were “frankly” expecting more given the hype, but it was still worth a visit.

I really appreciate this place. Not only is the food good they also give back to the community. They donate door prizes, discount coupons, etc to almost every school club and organization.
I use them sometimes for home delivery and they have always arrived at the time they give you or before.

Stopped in for a cone after eating lunch at Julie's Diner across the parking lot, and was delighted by how tasty and creamy the soft serve ice cream was. It is truly out of the ordinary. Will definitely stop in whenever I am in the area.

Oh, great foods! but you walk in there on a weekday, just TRY to get someone to wait on you. You walk around in an empty store, and you see the deli, and you think, that there looks interesting! And when someone show up, finally,...MoreSally We take customer service very seriously and am very sorry about your experience. I would love to personally talk to you to find out what happened. Good dining experience. Decor is iffy in an essentially storefront location. Menu is admirably varied but not huge. I think that this is a good thing, and allows more control in the kitchen which means each dish shines. However, at least 6 of the items on the menu beckoned me. This is not your average red sauce Italian and reminded me of the trattorias of Rome. I really enjoyed the braised shortribs on papardelle. Another diner said the seafood fra diavolo was well cooked and spicy (as it should be). The third, less adventurous, reported twice how much he enjoyed his tenderloin. I had to have a bite, and found it to be amazingly tender and perfectly cooked. Finally, the service was prompt but unobtrusive.
