Reds Alehouse, in North Liberty, IA, has offered great beer, great service and a great atmosphere since 2009! Our concept was centered around 18 tap beers, friendly neighborhood service and a fresh menu. We’re more than a simple restaurant. We’re an alehouse. Our staff and in-house beer specialist are here to help you find a beer you’ll love, and our head chef maintains a quality menu. Stop by today and see for yourself!
Prefer this place in during nice weather as they have a great outdoor patio. Service is ok, at times very good. Menu has a decent variety. Stone crust pizzas are very good. Very flavorable soups. Always get Black and Tan onion rings. Great happy hour...MoreThanks for the review - hope to see you back soon! Stephanie Breitbach General Manager - Reds Alehouse 319-626-2100

I took kids by for ice cream last week when it was ungodly hot and humid outside. Our standards are super low for ice cream. Even if it's bad, it's fine. This place was unreal. Here was the order: one small vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and two small vanilla cups. That's it. We got three small vanilla cones, one dipped in chocolate. Why? The weirdest part was that the expected creamy-smooth DQ ice cream had scads of tiny ice crystals in it. Made me think either it was super old or else someone isn't cleaning the machine properly. Wait time was ridiculously long, and there just weren't that many people there. Order written down on back of a notebook. Will avoid this place in future.

Relaxing and thoughtful atmosphere, inspiring coffee, refreshing tea, sourcing the best local pastries, beer, wine, caffeinated cocktails, and personal customer service.
I 380 North Liberty Exit. A short 1/2 mile to Cafe Muse will energize your trip! A new, contemporary atmosphere with excellent coffee, teas (even "high tea"), pastries, sandwiches, wine and ... well you make the decision! The staff is wonderful and above all friendly and helpful. Don't have time to go in, drive through, and continue your trip. Stop in on your way back and relax a while!

We love going to Corridor Coffee! It has a great coffee shop décor/atmosphere with table & chair seating in addition to a couch/loveseat arrangement if you want to get more comfortable. The drinks served are always amazing, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We are a family owned and operated establishment where food is our passion. We offer a causally sophisticated dining atmosphere. We look forward to having the opportunity of hosting you!
...It was so cozy and friendly! The house pinot grigio was good too, and the focaccia!!! Not being too hungry I ordered an entree salad which was really disappointing...little more than romaine lettuce with a few mushroom pieces, artichoke pieces and sun dried tomatoes...for $11. My friend had lasagna...A right-sized portion, but he said it was not hot in the middle. I guess if we go again we need to try something else from the menu.

The Bluebird delivers excellent quality home cooked food with a quaint and cozy environment. Staff is highly considerate of every customer. One of my favorite breakfast stops in the area with an excellent menu for meals around the clock.

Wonderful little sushi place tucked away in North Liberty. The Red tuna sashimi melted in my mouth, definitely some of the best I have ever had. Service was above average and ambience is good. The place is small and there are not a lot of tables. This definitely impacts your dining experience. But there is almost always a wait so go early or be prepared to wait. It's arguably the best sushi in Johnson County.

From the “heart” of Napoli to your table, Rusciano’s is proud to offer our customers authentic Neapolitan pizza. The secret of our pizza is the dough. The difference that sets our dough apart is the long rise and perfect hydration. It’s made daily using ”00” flour, water, salt, yeast and raised at room temperature for over a day. We use quality ingredients from local farms, vendors, and Italian imports to make a simple yet elegant pizza. True Neapolitan pizzas must be baked in a wood-fired brick oven; ours was handcrafted and finished with custom tiles in Napoli by the master oven-maker Stefano Ferrara.
This is a nice new Italian option in North Liberty. It is two doors from Suga Peach, another great homestyle place. Two great choices in small town Iowa. Completely different from Suga Peach it is an authentic small wood-fired pizza place similar to ones found...MoreThank you so much for the kind words spent for us!!! And thank you for the supporting!!!

It's too bad, because I would return here, but the music was way too loud to carry on a conversation with someone. I thought maybe it was an aberration, but talked with a friend who visited and had the same issue. If this was a college dance bar or live music venue I would expect it to be loud.

We truly enjoyed the food, which was fresh, homemade, and spicy. The food deserves five stars, but ... service annoyances reach a level of comic proportions in this mom-and-pop store.
A suggestion to customers: as you stand in line, limit your order only to items you see in front of you, which are ready to serve. You will then have a slow service experience that’s better than my very slow experience.
Slow service issue #1:
I ordered a waffle, which requires only a very small effort to prepare, but nevertheless it was not prepared until my wife already completely ate her meal. From the start, nobody took charge of my waffle. The first worker who takes orders did nothing but slowly dish out already-prepared food, so my waffle immediately fell through the cracks. I had to order my waffle again at the cashier (owner Carol), who promised to bring it out to me along with the rest of my meal, but then she just forgot. That service snafu cost a star.
Slow service issue #2:
The serving line was very slow, so that side dishes, which are scooped out first, get cold while waiting for the fish or chicken. The store was not busy at all. The problem is that everyone, while very polite, just moves in remarkably super-slow-motion. Another star deduction.
Plastic waste issue:
Too much plastic landfill waste results from all the disposable dishes, at least one plastic item for each side dish — that’s another star deduction. Wash dishes, please.
Noise issue:
The music is too loud, and the layout has no sound-absorbing materials, making conversation less pleasant.
Sales tax is not added to the prices shown.
