Providing the best BBQ, great indoor and outdoor seating, cold beer, tshirts, koozies and SUPER fun atmosphere.
Since my son moved to Spring TX, Corkscrew BBQ has been a MUST STOP place for us. I've eaten BBQ from North Carolina to West Texas, but Corkscrew is my favorite of all. It doesn't matter if it's beef or pork, the texture and taste are so tender and full of smoky flavor. Fair warning, be in line by 10:45 (the place opens at 11) if you're there for lunch, or you will have to wait for a while. The place usually runs out of everything by two o'clock. This is a very popular place with all the locals.

One of our favorite restorants in town. Don’t be surprised for the constant long waiting time, but its worth it. Free chips and salsa and soft drink were provided in the waiting room.
Last time we went there for my birthday, and I had my free dessert with candle on it. My fave entree was t-bone steak, which included the great array of salad bar. The food was always good, my steak was cooked to my preference and the service were always nice. Great ambiance and a great place to go for special occasion. The only minus point for me was, The restorant had certain dress code, but seems like never been enforced anymore. This was a high end restorant, and most people came here had something to celebrate hence dressed up nicely. But still saw some people with tshirt, short and flip flop during dinner. Wished management was more strict about it. May bothersome a little bit, but still it was a nice place to dine.

We are a farm-to-table restaurant, serving whole foods that are in season and grown locally. We use organic and hormone-free as much as possible. We are Christian family owned and operated. Owners: Beket and Joanne Griffith
This little cafe is hands down my favorite place. If you love a quiet refuge, delicious organic food, and wonderful people then this is the place for you. I've been here many times for lunch and dinner. Sadly, dinner is only served on Friday evenings, but it's become the highlight of our week. We love to come here with a bottle of wine (corkage fee $5) and shake off the stress of the week. The outdoor area is beautiful and they usually have soothing live music. I like that the menu is always different and features the freshest seasonal organic produce. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff and the food is amazing!

I’ve always liked The Pappacita Cantina on I-45 in Houston. So I was excited when they opened one near The Woodlands. The food was overdone, the service was horrible and management didn’t want to hear my complaints. Will continue to go to the one in Houston but not the one near The Woodlands.

We'll set up and serve for one hour, buffet style so you can enjoy your event. All caterings include sliced pickles, onions, jalapenos, fresh bread, Rudy's "sause", plates, plastic cutlery, and napkins. Tea, sweeteners & lemons included. Must be ordered at least one day in advance. Group meals include any combination of Brisket, Turkey, Chopped Meat, Pork Loin, or Sausage and your choice of 3 sides. Includes sliced pickles, onions, jalapenos, fresh bread, Rudy's "sause", plates, plastic cutlery, napkins, tea, sweetners, lemons, cups, and ice. Ask about our Breakfast Tacos.
Granted I'm not a Texan -- yet, but even Washingtonians know what "Goo-od!" tastes like -- and the brisket here is just that. Smokey, tender, moist, with tons of flavor -- flat out dee-licious!! My daughter-in-law makes a great brisket, but the meat here challenges even hers.
We stopped at Rudy's TWICE (at my request) during my 10-day visit to the northern Houston area, if that tells you anything. Got a chance to try most of the sides. All were edible, but Rudy's Beans were the standout. The surroundings aren't fancy, so if you're looking to impress people with anything but the food -- go elsewhere. This is a place to "chow down", let the BBQ sauce dribble down your chin, and smile! Prices are reasonable. (If you've ever cooked brisket from scratch, you know it ain't cheap.) Want to hedge your bet without draining your wallet? Try the moist brisket sandwich; add some cole slaw, a few onions to the stacked-high bun, maybe a pickle and jalapeno on the side -- and open wide. That, folks, is what "Goo-od" tastes like! I'm looking forward to moving close by and being able to visit this joint often.
Those are the pros. Here's one con: The BBQ sauce is added by you at the table from a "community" bottle. Great for personalizing your meal, but NOT so great from a hygiene point of view -- at least not in this retired nurse's opinion. Wrap a napkin around the sauce bottle, or bring along some hand sanitizer to use between shaking the bottle and touching your sandwich. You don't know who has handled that bottle before you or how fastidious they were about hand washing. Some nasty germs can get passed along that way.
That, however, will not keep me from putting this place on my short list of favorite casual "good eats" places.

If you want seafood, the buzz in town is Eddie V's Prime Seafood. The Gulf Coast menu features fresh seafood selections including oysters, gulf snapper (when in season), fresh tuna, lobster, plus prime steaks and chops. Savor classic seafood starters like oysters on the half shell, fried cold water baby lobster tail, and famous All Lump Crab Cakes. Visit our fabulous V Lounge where you can enjoy live music and happy hour seven nights a week. We offer indoor and outdoor private dining rooms for all your corporate and social gatherings. Our Award Winning wine list features over 150 selections.
We went with a large group of us to Eddie V’s in a separate room. Great service, good wine, some fantastic hors d’oevres and great starter, main dish and dessert. Certainly one to recommend and come back to, especially if you like seafood.

This place is definitely a treasure for Spring, TX. Hard to find as it's tucked in behind a large Mexican restaurant but clearly a very popular place with it's fair share of regulars it seems. Service is awesome, with attentive and friendly staff who genuinely seem to enjoy working there.
The 1/2 order kimchi fries were the perfect appetizer for 2 hungry adults. So many different BBQ dishes to try. If you are an huge fan of sushi, you'll find the sushi OK. The teriyaki chicken bowl is such an awesome combination of flavors.
My only regret-being too full to order fried cheesecake. Go now before the rest of Houston finds out.

All restaurants serve the highest quality Mexican food, offer a full bar and are open daily Sunday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. The Gringo’s brand identity is stamped with superior quality products combined with excellent value.
I was always try to stop in at Gringos when I’m in town. We were seated promptly when we arrived. I ordered the Cobb salad and my coworker worker ordered a combo plate. He got part of his food as we waited for the rest of the meal to arrive. The salad was crisp and very filling. My coworkers taco had gotten soggy as he waited for the rest of the food. Not sure why all of the wouldn’t arrive together.

Easy to get through the line, food always fresh and comforting. The hot rolls that come around are always welcome! Free ice cream on Sundays, even better! Everyone polite and knowledgeable of the menu, meat consistently fresh and delicious. Their immediate competition is Rudy’s barbecue, although great does not have the sides spring creek has or the rails. Best bet? Spring creek, you will never fail!

What a great spot for a somewhat upscale cuisine in a casual lunch setting. I had their three course business menu. Great deal for $20. I recommend it highly. Nice variety in their menu. We'll be back.
