Had a late lunch there with my son. I had their Stuffed French Toast (Raspberry today)! This is my go-to food here! My son ordered the Farmer's (I think?) breakfast, meal offering all the main bfast items....eggs, toast, hash browns (the formed kind like u get at school or McD's, which my son prefers), sausage. He said it was great! Good coffee too! Note: close early, 2:00 or 3:00 pm depending on day of week.

Newaygo Brewing Company, LLC is a brewery, winery, restaurant, and cultural center located in historic downtown Newaygo, Michigan. Founded in 2014 and opened in 2015 by the Looman family of Grand Rapids and Newaygo, it features a 16 seat bar, dining room, and event stage. Its professional staff serve a large variety of beer, wine, hard cider, mead, artisan pizza, and award winning desserts; all produced in their 115 year old building on the Muskegon River. Beer is produced on a 5 Barrel brewhouse which was custom made by PsychoBrew, LLC in Greenville, Michigan. The brewery specializes in producing English style cask ale served from traditional casks with the use of beer engines. They also offer many local favorites and creative takes on modern beer styles. Newaygo Brewing Company offers beer to-go in bottles, growlers, howlers, and crowlers and wholesales kegs of their offerings to local bars and restaurants. In 2016, Newaygo Brewing Co will begin distribution of canned beer to retail locations throughout Michigan.
I gave this location 5 stars being they make their own Root Beer. Many breweries lately don't make their own, which I think is a shame.
The pizzas we had were very good, one is plenty to share for two. Plenty of menu items to choose from. The sliders ( 6 options) looked awesome, think meet time I'll try those.

Awesome cafe. We were pleasantly surprised to find this cafe in Newaygo. We were on an old times remanessing trip. We came from Colorado and Minnesota to see the house our Grandparents on Moms side (Frank and Helen Konkel) built in Newaygo in the 1940s and the house next door our Dads parents (Elery and Rose Furr) had in Newaygo. We didn't think we would find a great restaurant but we were very happily surprised with the great food and friendly staff we found here in Newaygo.

Atmosphere casual/beachy. Restaurant on Hess Lake. Lots of boat access or from the road with ample parking for cars and boats. New decor, carpets and menus. Lots of old favorites on the menu and a few new offerings plus daily specials. Full bar. Grateful they still broil fish!!

Went there with 11 on a reservation which was nice for a Saturday Night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Menu was full of nice "pub" and dinner selections. Something for everyone. Prices were reasonable.

Cronk's Oakridge Resturant is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Experienced waitresses, like Shona, Lisa, and Pam provide excellent service. Try "The Oakridge Scramble" for breakfast. The BBLT with fries is an excellent choice for lunch. For dinner, we love the "Broasted Chicken" with mashed potatoes and gravy, or the broasted potato wedges. Don't forget to try the BEST Soup and Salad Bar for miles! If you have room try the fantastic pies and cakes for desert!

We used to frequent the Sportmans often. Not any more. Carpet and fixtures are very dirty and food nothing but tasteless and/or deep fried. Cringe -worthy establishment.

Late dinner over the holiday weekend. Service was very timely and friendly even though it was busy and they were short-staffed. Taco salad was good; fish and chips were okay (fish was undercooked for my tastes). Huge amount of fries with the fish and chips. Good beer selection of crafts, imports and domestics. Excellent value for the price. Will try again.

We have had the delight of visiting the Red Anchor Inn on several occasions and it is always good--service, food, atmosphere, etc. Last night was no exception. A local high school was celebrating homecoming and the restaurant was very busy. Initially, we were told a 10-15 minute wait and we were good with that…about five minutes later the owner came over and said, "I've got a table for you now!" He did a little juggling with table placement and we were in, seated and enjoying drinks and dinner. By the way, the chicken burrito was delish! Red Anchor Inn is at the top of the list for our local favorite!

The food was decent but our wait staff was a little slow to get us our bills, but they were getting busy. Will keep this on our list of stops! Deep fried food was all very good:)
