First timer at Hot Tails and will definitely be back again. I had the Buffalo style Alligator and Catfish Boxx. Both were very good. Lots to choose from for food and nice craft beer selection. You order at the counter and they bring it to the table. See you on my next trip here. Good prices.

Stopped here on a cross country bicycle ride. Ham biscuit was very good as were the cake donuts and coffee. Friendly service included.

Off the beaten path but quality Mediterranean in St. Francisville. Very casual. Wait staff very attentive. Kibbi are home made and a great starter. This is a nice change from the other local places in New Roads and St. Francisville. Owner planing an expansion into space not used in the current building. Restaurant has been open 4 years in the current location.

Homemade, delicious breakfast. Be sure to get the stone-ground grits. The pancakes are great too. A really neat little hole-in-the-wall place. They even have books you can peruse. A great place to gather & chat.

My wife and I stopped in for an evening out. We had a few drinks, and ate the seafood plate. Hers was grilled shrimp, mine was fried oysters. It was amazing. And it's really clean, to boot!

The Sand Bar has dock area for access by boat. Usually a good local band on hand for Friday & Saturday night. Beer is cold and staff is friendly. Great beach volleyball courts. The food is mostly fried bar food offerings. This is a great place to get off the river or meet your friends for a cold one. The crowed is young, families and older. It's th ekind of place where everyone is comfortable.

We asked for our oysters to be fried in skillet rather than deep fried and they were happy to do so. The decor is charmingly antique, no reproductions, the real things. Waiters are friendly and attendant. You will love this place.

No more sleeping in on weekends, I now have a reason to get up. So many choices and everything is good and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm very partial to the Apple Fritters, most excellent.

For daily specials simply come in or call the restaurant. For additional information & daily social updates.
The Magnolia Cafe is just what you would expect in a small town like St Francisville. The food is simply and very good, the portions are generous, and the service is professional and friendly. There is ample seating inside, and outside dining is also available. No nonsense food at no nonsense prices. You won't be disappointed.
