The food is excellent. Very nice choice of wines and dishes a la carte. Haute cuisine, French mostly. The service was incredibly slow. The restaurant / hotel is owned by a couple, who does everything and is visibly not helped by anyone. The husband was serving while the wife was cooking. Took us 1hr 45 to get our first order. Uterly irritating. I mean all in all it was a very nice experience and I would deff recommend the restaurant to friends, but please don't go hungry there, it really takes forever!!

Very authentic place, the products are of high quality.
Do not expect high class restaurant, buit this is a great break, next to the freeway. The products are genuine and really good, though the menu is quite simple.
They seem to have though a wide range of "abats", but I did not try them out in details...
Definitely worth a stop for a quick dinner.

Had meals on five evenings. The food was always very good. Cooked as asked for i like my steak blue. Drinks a bit expensive but not to bad. Got busy at the weekend.

King Shack was a beautiful place to visit (as beautiful as a visit to the chip shop can be) and the food was lovely. The staff could easily speak English, meaning communication was not an issue.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. The service was quick and correct. With attention to some points I would give an overall score of 5 (excellent) - please don't serve the food in cold dinner plates - please serve some salad with the dishes

We phoned a half hour before we arrived at the restaurant. There was a table for 4 people.
The service and welcome was very friendly.
Prices are very reasonable. Large wine menu. (prices OK)
The food quality was good and the presentation of the dishes was nice.
The interior of the restaurant is a bit outdated.
All by all, it is a good restaurant (I think the best in Neufchateau)
