We arrived at 7 pm, only to find that the famed la paz batchoy was only available until 6 pm. Disappointed, we nevertheless proceeded to order several entrees and appetizers. And ALL were delicious, except for the chicharon bulaklak. The vegetable dishes were especially yummy. We will be back.

Mentioned in various tripadvisor traveler articles/forum about Bacolod
This is turo-tuto style in a “sosyal” venue. The food choices aren’t much , best options would be the grilled ones. I wish they would instead use transparent covers on their serving dishes lining up the food counter. Staff is polite and alert. Dishes are tasty. Place is really beautiful.

Best lengua estofada(ox tongue), callos, chicken relleno, baba cake, churros. Excellent service and toilets. It's a must to visit and try this institution. I learned that Bascon has been in the food industry in this province since 1956. Also trythe best lasagna. Their cakes are reasonably price, and can out taste those in manila.

Natural Food made from scratch, included daily Artisan Bread. They make their own Ham, smoked Bacon, their own Cheese etc. No soft drinks only fresh juices. Every week there are new Specials on the menu, fresh from the Markets. All the dishes are based on the Classic International Kitchen, made from local products, as available Organic, with a Filipino twist. You can have lunch or dinner in the Phinma Galery in The Negros Museum or at the Terrace under the old trees. Museum Cafe is concidered Best Restaurant of Bacolod by GMA News TV Ang Pinaka and lifestyle webpage ClickTheCity!
I like it that you have option if you want to dine outside of the restaurant or inside. They have very unique concept of Menu list which is written on the board. Good price for that classy and upscale restaurant.

I was surprised when Pendy's moved to a new location (the old one was a lot better). I was told the lease expired and the owner wanted to out another restaurant. We've always visited a Pendy's for breakfast and pasalubong stuff (napoleones). Hopefully they can find a good spot again a relive the quaint feel.

Tyrol Restaurant brings central european cuisine to the heart of Bacolod. It is ideal for families and other groups. Various platters are available for groups. Tyrol features 2 different styles for guests to choose from. A laid back, rustic style dining room, which simulates a typical Tyrolean mountain cabin and a spacious alfresco Terrace for a great Austrian beer garden experience. The other room features a sophisticated wine bar. Chilling lounge music is awaiting you here and is ideal for a romantic candle light dinner. This room is available for private functions for up to 30 guests.
This restaurant is tucked away a little but is well worth searching out.
A great range of dishes available, I had an amazing tomato soup to start.
We also had a selection of meat dishes which were delicious.
There was a power cut but this was quickly switched over to the generator.
I would have given full marks but the owner (I guess) came in and went in the kitchen and interacted with staff before sitting down for something to eat himself. It's one of my pet hates where staff eat at their place of work especially where he chose to interact with the staff but not any of the customers.

Bob's Restaurant has been in the City of Smiles since 1965 and has continuously satisfied the gastronomic cravings of Negrenses.
Whenever I'm at Bob's I usually have their Mongolian Bowl. It just fits my appetite especially when I'm really starving. The taste is beyond expectations. And I can truly say that it's one of the best Mongolian bowls I've ever tasted.
