One of the best customer service available at a restaurant.
All stated on menu:
Split bills no problem.
Shared meal on 2 plates no problem - minimal service charge ($2-$3) for extra plate and extra food for splitting.
Service was great with recommendations from waiters/waitress
Servings are huge - absolute value for $
Comfy Seating. There is Seating inside, on the patio (open) and on the sidewalk. We sat on the patio. Most Seating has sea view.
Clean restaurant. Bright welcoming decor,
Restroom clean ... just one for male and one for female.
Booking is suggested on Sat dinner. Restaurant was full.
Will be back

Overrated.
Sorry to say RobP (several reviews down), that I actually didn't like it that much.
Granted that the pasty was nice. It was the only redeeming feature of the place.
But the fillings were beyond bland. We tried a selection and found them all to be bland. A bit of salt and pepper or some garlic or herbs during the cooking process, would have helped enormously.
Bland pies can be forgiven and jazzed up myself before eating. But why bother.
The girl who served us would have to be the most sullen, bored and indifferently miserable person ever to do so. I know working in a pie shop may not be that exciting, but I don't think I have ever had more unfriendly unhelpful service anywhere. Felt as about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. When working in hospitality or retail, a simple smile or hello costs nothing to the server, and may influence the customer to return. I would only return if I wanted to depress myself with her attitude.
So whilst I could go here for pies, as the shop is near my hotel room, I think why waste my hard earned money for such an indifferent experience. From now on I will drive the extra distance, and only go to The Brooky Pie (where the pies are fabulous and so is the service)
Honestly amazed to see people lining up outside the door for this place. Mystified.
Oh well. There ARE fantastic pies on the Northern Beaches, so their loss and not mine.

Last time were at this restaurant we thought it was not as good as it used to be so we decided to try it again just in case things had improved.
However things had not improved. Only thing that had changed was the menu prices had gone up and the service was so inexperienced we nearly walked out.
Young waitresses were pleasant but gave us the impression they had just been hired for the night. They knew nothing about the menu items and had difficulty even operating the electronic ordering system.
Food was good but very over priced. Not value for money.
Friday night but very few dinning guests. Maybe a sign Limani's days are numbered.
With so many good restaurants in the area we will not be back.

We have visited Armchair collective numerous times & have always loved the whole lunchtime experience.
The ambience & decor is very attractive which makes it very appealing for dining. Our lunch was delicious & coffee excellent too.
The Armchair collective cafe is located at the end of Darley Road just opposite Mona Vale Beach.

The focus is on quality dishes done exceptionally well. The Barramundi is always a favourite of mine as are the Betel Leaves. So many choices. Great friendly vibe. Don't expect cheap and cheerful prices. You're paying slightly more because of the quality of the ingredients and their flare. Consistently good.

I’m usually a big fan of barbuto, but not on this occasion. It’s been few months since our last visit and seems like maybe the owners have changed.
We came for a lunch at a not too busy time, we ordered a carafe of wine except it seemed to have been forgotten, we had to remind them.
The table was sticky, my arms were stuck to it as was the napkin which when I lifted it it was partially attached to the table. The ketchup pot was also stuck and when I went to lift it due to the resistance it went over the table.
But what topped off the disaster of this visit had to be that my favourite dish the affogato had had its vanilla bean ice cream replaced by an inferior product. I look forward to the vanilla bean ice cream and it was no more. As maybe my future visits.

We have just left mexicano, much to our regret !
The ambience was sensational, the food was flavoursome, creative and just right ( in our opinion).
The booze was even better than the food, the margiritas were quite frankly to die for !!! You cannot go here without having one or ten !!!
I read here that the service was average, that was not our case at all. It was quite the opposite, I cannot compliment the staff enough... truly they made the evening for us.
Will we be back ?
Absolutely... sunday lunch, could think of no where, with a swim at the beach before hand.

We stopped here for a late lunch, the location is wonderful with the lake & parklands. So many waterbirds lovely seeing them just wondering up to you. The restaurant is open with lots of windows and airy, food is great and very lastly. The portions are big so if a small eater share a dish. The coffee is good and a large selection of teas. Wait staff are friendly and food is served fast. I will visit again when the sun is shining as it would look fantastic.

Four adults, plus baby in pushchair, for a birthday lunch. Drinks menu is good. Food menu is good. Service is friendly and efficient. Food arrived - and was presented well - and tasted as good as it looked.

We were looking for a close Italian restaurant after visiting the beach and found this place. Wasn't sure if it was opened as it was next to a Pizza Hut and had no signage. I pushed the door ajar only to be greeted by the owners and waiters. We ordered a variety of seafood pasta dishes and we were most impressed by the flavours. Not that overpowering as some experienced and not overly salty. The chef cooked a lasange for my son and the serving was huge. He ate most of it which was an indication of tastiness. The mussels and linguine was faboulous and generously sized as well. It's one of the tastiest Italian restaurants that we have visited. The restaurant itself was small and dark. It would be good if they can do up the place a bit to improve the overall experience. The service was good and food did not take long to arrive. We would probably return!!
