Meson Sabika is an award-winning Spanish Tapas restaurant that has resided in an 1847 Georgian mansion since 1990. It goes without question, that the restaurant offers an unmatched dining experience. Guests can dine indoors and enjoy the grace and charm reminiscent of a European Villa or can choose to sit outdoors on the terrace while enjoying the ultimate alfresco experience underneath 150-year-old oak trees which cover the estate. Guests will find that each item on the menu offers a taste of Spain. Whether it’s enjoying hot and cold tapas, sangria, an entree or a vintage wine – there’s always a pleasant combination of exceptional food, friendly service, and unique atmosphere where family and friendship can live life in celebration.
Had a night out with my husband while visiting Naperville area. Made reservations based on Trip Advisor reviews and glad we did. Fantastic food. Small plates with quite generous portions. Fantastic wine list. Our server was exceptional. Bottle of wine, six plates plus two desserts for $125. We figured it would be much more! Definitely worth every penny and the place is gorgeous inside!

Went today for dinner- best corned beef and rye with a big dill pickle you will ever find! Great service and the owner Howard- what a great guy! Free bagel chips and the dessert choices are to die for! And their all beef bacon product called Schmacon is fantastic!

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
I ordered carryout on line. Not only was the wait in line about 20 minutes, after allowing 20 minutes for the food to be prepared, but they forgot my husband's chicken sandwich and threw in an extra potato. The quality of service continues to erode.

Fun and tasty pizza stop in downtown shopping area! In addition, an organization I belong to holds an event here every year--the service is excellent and we have a great time.

I've eaten there 3 times. Overall good food and service.
First visit: Roasted vegetable enchiladas. My favorite so far; a great, flavorful, interesting combination of flavors and textures.
Second visit: Veggie burger. Not the best veggie patty I've had but very good overall. Served with a fresh, nicely dressed salad.
Third visit: Crab cakes. Here's where the train came off the rails. 2 small cakes with not a lot of lump crab meat and just an odd flavor - not what I was expecting. It was served with a flavorful mayo-based sauce (menu says mustard-based but to me it more mayo than anything else); unfortunately it appeared that the sauce had been sitting uncovered for some time and a skin had formed on the top. French fries also came with it but they were cold and limp. By far the best part of the plate was an Asian-inspired cole slaw. Fresh, crisp veggies properly dressed, and a large serving.
For all 3 visits my wife had pistachio-crusted grouper, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It's expensive, but a winner. The fish was fresh and properly cooked. Nothing special about the potatoes but they were good. The asparagus was surprisingly good given it wasn't in season (it was either imported or green house but still high quality).

We eat at Francesca’s the night before Thanksgiving each year. We are in town to visit family on Thursday and this has become our tradition. We love the food and the atmosphere. The presciutto pizza was a lovely and delicious surprise. Seafood linguini was beautifully presented. The menu changes often so we are always surprised.
We arrived at 5:00 and had no problem getting a table. When we left people were waiting outside.

Our hotel clerk recommended this restaurant to us, and she was right! It's quite popular, so we added our name to the list and waited in the attractive bar, where there was a very good wine by-the-glass selection. We only had to wait 20 minutes and then were seated at a comfortable booth overlooking the bar area in the darkish contemporary atmosphere. We both ordered the trout; I also had the spaghetti squash side special, and everything was delicious. We split a blonde brownie with ice cream for dessert - yum! Reasonable prices for food of this quality and excellent service.

If you want a tasty breakfast, recommend visiting Egg Harbor Cafe. It is so popular that one should expect a wait, but it is worth it. Servings are about right. It offers good variety. Their special was very good. Will visit again when back in Naperville.

This was our second trip to Hugo's. This time my wife and I brought our nephew and his girlfriend who were visiting.
We had 7:15 reservations on a Saturday night. We arrived just a few minutes early to find the place packed. The hostess said that they were running a bit behind schedule so we made our way to the bar and, after about 10 minutes, were able to get a small table. We were not seated until after 8PM, which I find somewhat annoying since we did have reservations for nearly an hour earlier.
The rest of the evening mostly went well. The four of us split a couple appetizers to start. Then among us we had the salmon, swordfish, filet mignon and lobster tail. I decided to splurge on the lobster since its been a long time. It turned out to be the one disappointing food item we had as it just did not taste fresh and had a texture as if it had been frozen. That was especially disappointing given the price. Everyone else rated their entrees highly. I did enjoy a cup of bookbinders soup to start.
Our server was Michael who did a good job of explaining the various fish and meat choices to us. We split two desserts among the four of us which were quite good.
So, overall, the atmosphere and (mostly) high quality food made for a fun evening. Again, I was disappointed in the lobster tail and in the nearly one hour wait to be seated after our our reserved time.
There is valet parking available as parking is otherwise difficult at peak times in this area of Naperville.

Premier seafood and steak restaurant in Naperville. Featuring ocean fresh seafood from the coastal waters of the United States to customers in the Chicago suburbs. Premium quality steaks with an emphasis of seasonal gourmet sides and decadent desserts top off the menu.
The atmosphere was great. Service from the hostess and wait staff was outstanding. We had the Chilean bass and mussels dishes were surperb. Clam chowder soup was good but not outstanding. Dessert was excellent. Will return for sure. One annoyance. We were seated in the...MoreThank you for dining with us! We appreciate your 4 star rating and feedback, we apologize for any disturbance.
