The view over the very Danish Nakskov Fjord is hard to beat, but the food and its price disappoints. The restaurant's location with a very good kitchen could be a huge draw, but very average food, so-so service and the typical, outrageous Danish restaurant prices made the visit less memorable.

Two visits over two days to this very small restaurant result in a poor rating, mostly because of service and price - the former good at one visit but nonchalant and inattentive at a second visit, the latter a result of Danish pricing structure driven by hard-core unions and sales tax (VAT). The first visit's Pariserbøf was very average but with overcooked meat; the second visit's shrimp and crayfish salad was plenty but unimaginative and very run-of-mill. The location is good, the tiny interior pleasant and comfortable.

Located in one of the most remote areas of the country and by a 1star camp site, this restaurant doesn't appear to be anything special.
But don't be fooled, the restaurant doesn't need to be in a crowded city or massive marketing campaigns to attract customers and especially not a foodie like me!
I had this restaurant recommended through word of mouth and we drove almost two hours to get there and it was worth every minute extra in the car.
The place is small, beautiful and surrounded by forest.
It's private and it's like entering someones home when you arrive.
The two owners know exactly what they want and what they serve. The freshest of fish and meat and home grown or excellent imported vegetables.
They buy their own livestock and make sure everything is done properly before the meat is prepared.
Fish is fresh from the sea Everything is fresh.
A unique experience with excellent food, high level service, great wine experience.
Worth the drive, worth the visit and I myself will definitely be back.

The service, mood, food, staff and location make for a wonderful combination of Danish hospitality. This small sidewalk cafe is located near Nakskov's walking street (gågaden) and central marketplace. Stop in for a complete meal or a wonderfully prepared cappuccino espresso. You'll not be disappointed.

Gonzales Feilberg Restaurant has given those of us who live in the Lolland-Fejø area a phenomenal new place to dine. Their food is a mix of Danish ingredients prepared with either a French or Italian twist. Much care is given to both the food preparation and the presentation of the dishes. We dined there just 10 days after their opening. Gonzales Feilberg possesses the essential combination which in our opinion defines top restaurants -- excellent food, professional friendly service and a beautiful ambiance.
