They make the best mini pies that I have frequented to visit this place at least once a month while working in Okinawa for 18 years. Good Seating for dinners overlooking the East China Sea. Very nice place to enjoy the dinner and the sunset. Since the main 58 road has been directed to the opposite side, this restaurant seems to be on the beaten path which was the old Hwy used to be. Can't miss the building with vines and a dolphin logo. I always make sure that I get my fix of their mini pie every year I visit my family in Okinawa.

We went there to eat some local food . The set up is traditional and simple . It is more of a casual family restaurant so would not advise to choose for couples .
The food was decent and there was a good selection . It is a fair restaurant for the area .

This may be the most popular soba house in the City of Nago. The place is popular with locals, as well as, the tourist crowd. It's best to check the parking lot, to see how busy the establishment looks, before entering. At certain times, Seating may not be available. Even when it is busy, service is fast and efficient so, it may be worth waiting if, you like good food at reasonable prices. From what, I could see, nothing costs over 500 yen. My favorite meal is the sanmainiku soba.

Finding this restaurant at dark evening situation can be a little harrowing. The street leading to the restaurant is not well lit. But they do staff stationed at a strategic point to guide guests on self-drive to the car park.
My advice is to go early to secure a queue number as the wait can be from 5 - 30min, depending on the crowd. Once, inside, leave your shoes in lockers provided with key. Don't lose that key.
The ambience is quite nice with lit garden and guggling stream. The menu ordering can be somewhat confusing with sets avail. Try to combine ala carte with the set for best dining option. Average bill can be up 20,000Yen or more for a family of four, depending on what you chose.
There is a local snack shop as you exit the restaurant where you buy home cake or pastries.
Overall a nice dining experience, not too bad. Just somewhat overrated.

We ate Breakfast and Dinner buffet's here during our stay. The selection available from the buffet was actually pretty good, and the quality of all the food was fine too. Service was typical Japanese and very attentive. The breakfast omelette had 3 specific ingredients every day and they would not change these for others, but the pancakes were always good. Considering it is a Japanese hotel and it was a buffet, overall it was good but it is hard as a buffet to score it more than 3/5. I would suggest for dinner to try one of the other restaurants on site, but for breakfast its quite good.

Not a bad place would drive this far up just to come back. If you are in the neck of the woods of this place stop in grab a bite. I wasn't impressed by it but others swear by it. To each their own, I might go back if it on my way but i won't a detour to go there. Prices were a bit more than gordies, good food nice scenery

Dining GUSUKU is a casual dining space to enjoy throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant features variety of menus including Okinawa cuisine, Japanese and Western cuisine. Breakfast buffet has a selection of Western and Japanese menus as well as local dishes served with variety of small plates. Guests may choose to dine in the Terrace space.
This restaurant is in The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa. I like the design of this dining. You can choice both Japanese food especially Okinawa-style dishes and western-style one as you like. In the lunch time, you can even order Okinawa styled set meal at reasonable price. Of course, the service quality is great.

This is one of my favorite stops when passing through Nago City after spending the day in the northern areas of Okinawa. It is conveniently located, just south of the downtown business district on HWY58 so, it is a great place to stop and take a break. There is a choice of Seating, depending upon your preferences: Table and chairs, tatami room or, counter at the sushi bar.
While formal, upscale meals are available, I'm usually in a rush to leave the city so, settle for the sushi or, a bowl of Okinawa Soba. The food is delicious and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant staff. English language is very limited so it's best to speak Japanese or, have someone who does, accompany you. There is a small shop at the entrance where you can find some antiques and collectables as well as, herbal teas, local spirits and farm produce at very reasonable prices. So, it is a good idea to look at the fruits and vegetables on your way out, if you want to lower you grocery bill. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends along with some advice: Bring lots of yen.

At The Lobby Lounge, guests can enjoy finger foods or partake in the traditional afternoon tea featuring Okinawan taste, and selection of sweets that uses finest local ingredients. The Lounge offers spectacular views of the beautiful Emerald green sea overlooking the gold course.
Stopped here on the drive from Kouri Island to Naha so that our Daughter could have an afternoon tea set, whilst we had fantastic iced coffees (.....and naturally helped her out a little!). The quality of the food as you would expect was excellent with a good balance of savoury and sweet items. We had the classic set, but there is also an Okinawan set. The view over the 18th green of their Golf course and beyond to the ocean was wonderful. The staff were very attentive.
