Our family had a great lunch here. We all ordered Falafel plates with hummus. It was delicious. Generous portions. We met Nancy and she is very friendly. This was our first time here and we would definitely come again, when traveling through area.

I’ve lived in and around Tennessee for about five years, and I’ve had all forms of smoked meat. But this place has the absolute best smoked wings by a longshot. Although a bit dry, the flavor on these things is unmatched. Simply irresistible. I tried the sample platter which included pulled pork, brisket, wings, and assortment of other things including ribs. Most everything was dryer than I thought it should be, it was all very delicious and the mop barbecue sauce was unbelievable. Really some of the best flavors I’ve had anywhere

Just had lunch at one of my favorite family restaurant Demo's. Started by Jim and Doris and now run by their children Peter and Felicia I always tell my friends when visiting Nashville forget the big chains and tourist prices go to Demo's. I was at their original restaurant in Murfreesboro today. Lunch Special was $5.99 Salad Starter, Seafood Fettuccine and unlimited supply of their gorgeous cheese bread. So tasty and a bargain.

Ate here based on reviews. Overall, good food, good menu selection, average portions, nice casual place, decent prices.... Spaghetti was somewhat dry though; needs more sauce.
Great cocktail drinks!!! (wildberry mojito was my favorite! but its weak)
Few good enough homemade dessert selection...
Excellent service!!! I appreciate restaurants when owner or management checks up on you.
Go early otherwise gets very crowded; long wait.
Tons of street parking.

I can understand how this restaurant receives such great ratings. Although the location is in a busy area, the interior of the restaurant is quiet, elegant and upscale. The food is wonderful with very tender, flame cooked steaks. I had the filet mignon which is...MoreThank you so much for your complimentary review and recommendation, we're so glad you enjoyed your dining experience with us, and we look forward to serving you again soon!

It is always difficult to throw rocks at a friend... especially a good one. Well here goes: The Delmonico is not always on the menu and so... I thought (after viewing my fellow reporters on here)... that's the steak for me. It didn't take long and my female guest and I dug right in. She had a different steak and quickly raved about the flavor and tenderness. I dug into mine... literally, pun intended. Tough, lack of flavor, little or no seasoning....as if it was one of those steaks you get from the Walmart frozen food section... precooked...looks good through the wrapper...but, wow... flavorless. So, I can't suggest this steak. You might want to pick something different. PS Service, great; cleanliness great; ambiance great; salad fine, bread fine; waitor ok...so whats missing? I honestly don't know...good luck.

Good food at reasonable prices. Onion Straws are to die for. Burgers are large and made with good quality meat with everything on them . Orders come out very quick. Service was outstanding. Everything from Oysters to Salads. This is a sports type bar and grill with the waitresses dressed in tee shirts and short shorts but not offensive, I would not hesitate to take kids there. Lots of TV's on sports channels. Waitress was friendly and polite.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, too. At Jim ‘N Nick’s, we pride ourselves on using the right ingredients, taking our time and honoring the traditions that brought us barbecue.
My wife and I had dinner at Jim and Nick's two nights ago as we were passing through Murfreesboro. The restaurant had been recommended to us as a good place for barbecue. We had been to a Jim and Nick's in Auburn, Alabama so we went. Service was extremely good and fast. I had Hot Links and my wife had a bunless brisket sandwich place. The food was tasty and the portions generous but nothing exceptional. Probably would not go back should we find ourselves in Murfreesboro again.
