We had the $4.75 hamburger - it is excellent meat but is served plain. Need to tell them if want grilled onions etc. The toasted buns were a nice touch. The hamburger was huge - a third of a pound - you could definitely share one. Fries and onion rings were ok - nothing special. Milk shake was runny but ice cream cones were great. Excellent location - right off the interstate. Friendly staff and a very clean facility.

A Steakhouse and Saloon, located in the heart of Murdo, home of 1880 town and the Pioneer Auto Museum. We serve items from burgers to steaks, and have a full bar, with video lottery, darts, and pool tables. Come to the Rusty Spur Steakhouse for a great time.
After spending a long day on the road, a large group of us American Legion Riders popped in on a Tuesday night and the waitress worked hard. My country friend steak was large and tasty. The staff and management were friendly and polite. Travel safe...

Feel bad about the one-star rating because the people were so nice. But as a solo traveler I found that they offered only one size of pizza, a 16" large. Too much and too expensive for one person who can't eat that much. Their other menu offerings only included wings and a couple of other things that didn't appeal to me. Their parking lot was empty on a Saturday evening. Their limited pizza menu might be the reason.

It was Labor Day and this was basically the only restaurant open yesterday evening. We were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very nice and attentive even though they were being run off their feet by the unexpected influx of customers. We had the meatloaf dinner and the hot Turkey sandwich. Both were very good and sufficiently large portions. The waitress apologized for the long wait to get our food - we were shocked because it certainly WASN'T a long wait. Definitely recommend.

Locally owned/operated since 1985. Nightly dinner specials include homemade soup, salad bar, and ice cream dessert. Saturday night dinner special is fresh cooked Prime Rib. Friday night soup special is Linda's Tomato - a local favorite. Steaks, buffalo and beef burgers, fish, chicken, snack baskets, and a children's menu available. Coldest beer in town. Mixed drinks and wine also available.
I wanted something a short walk from the Tesla Supercharger on a scorchingly hot day. This place was a treat. This is where the locals eat. It had a nice little salad bar and a big pot of in-house scratch cream of tomato soup. My Flatiron steak was delicious.

I wanted to give this place a higher rating because the people were so nice and friendly. Our waitress was excellent, and the service was super speedy.
As for the food, my roast beef sandwich was dry and tasteless. The lemonade was the worst we have Ever tasted. Hot gravy sandwiches were sour tasting. My husband said his hamburger was good but overcooked. Chicken strip basket was good. The French fries were very good though.
The women's bathroom was frightening.

This is an adorable stop for lunch on your travels. We enjoyed walking back in time with original tables, chairs, curtains and lots of chrome! Food was simple, priced very fair and tasted great! It's worth the stop. We had chicken noodle soup with salad and chili with sandwich and all items were tasty.
It's right next to the Old 1880's town; which to visit the town was $12 and we skipped that.

My wife & I stopped here for lunch. The employees were clueless and were very slow. We both orders salads. The salads were good. I had the sweet onion chicken salad & my wife had the chicken bacon ranch salad. Both were good.
