The wife and I decided to run down to try out this restaurant since we had never eaten here before.
It was very nice and clean and the staff was very nice.
Bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was very good! The sliders were good, and the fillet was made to order and good, but a tad bland.
The negatives are that being in the casino you have to deal with cigarette smoke...that you don't have to smell when going to non-state owned restaurants.

I used to think Derby Donut had the best donuts around but the last few times I went in there the donuts were just average. I feel their prices are a bit high as well. I go to Quik Trip now, their donuts are better in my opinion and if you're craving a donut after 3:00pm QT's donuts are half price.
Just a thought!

In my experience Rib Crib is very hit or miss. Pulled pork is usually fairly good, however rib have been good and then next time pathetic. I will say their baked beans are one of my favorites.

Went with friends to Luciano's last night and had a great meal. Started with Caprices Bruschetta and My little bride had Lasagna, I had sausage pasta and the other two had penne Mare Monti and meat and pasta. It was all very good. Only negative is that the bar pours are very short.
Enjoyed the evening.

Love, love love, The Coffee House. Very friendly Barista's. Many flavors of coffee, tea, Italian Soda and other drinks available hot and cold. They also have pastries, Cinnamon Rolls, Lemon Bars, etc. but the Almond Croissant is my favorite. The Bierocks are good, and they have Gluten Free items. Have been going here for years and would not and do not go anywhere else. There are other Coffee places in Derby, but if you want friendly, large variety, and good coffee....go to The Coffee House....you will be glad you did.

Thursday is Margaritas for 1.99 how can you go wrong with that plus the food and service is great. I have never had any food that was good, You need to try this the next time you are in Derby!

First we had to ask for sweetener twice and never got the lemon we asked for with our tea. One of the burgers did not come as ordered so we had to wait for the correction. The fish and chips were good. Poor service for so few customers present.
