Lunch in the courtyard, in the sun, with fabulous food, great beverages and terrific wait staff...what more could you ask for on a beautiful spring Sunday...!! The gravlax is amazing...well worth the trip for that alone. This is a very popular cafe so would recommend booking if for a special occasion.

I enjoyed a very tasty dinner after work - so good in fact, I dined there agan the next night.
I work away a lot and get very tired of room service food so ventured out to this hotel.
As I was dining alone - I really appreciated the clean, calm atmosphere.
The Pork Belly was fabulous.
Good value for money. I also appreciated the courtesy of the bar staff when ordering a glass of wine.

Luckily we had booked a table here for Easter Sunday night-the place was packed. Very pleasant table in the courtyard, listening to the soloist. The tasting paddle(8 beers for $12) is a great deal. Food quite good,,although the young waitress stuffed up part of our order initially. However, Debbie, who really gave us great service, fixed the order with no trouble. We had a very pleasant evening and would come back again on future Mudgee trips.

Very friendly, small restaurant. Pastas we tried were very 'full bodied' and flavoursome home style Italian cuisine. It is in one of the main streets of Mudgee.
Everything is relative - in Sydney this place would be average. Out in the country I think they do really well. It is simple and straightforward Italian food and not fancy. Friendly service and monstrous servings which is the norm when you are in the country. I have been coming to Mudgee for over ten years and I have not been here before. Worthwhile experience.

We started with coffee and juice and they were both good. The old butcher shop has a interesting and eclectic decor. I ordered the chorizo omelette and received the cheese and tomato omelette. I didn’t bring it to the waiters attention. Omelette’s aren’t easy to make and this was very average. The Market St cafe’s omelette was much better. My son ordered the special of baked beans. We expected them to be homemade but they looked just like Heinze beans to us. They too were very average. The bacon and eggs were a smaller serve than expected. The cafe was a little on the expensive side for the size of the dishes. The service was efficient and friendly. I wouldn’t visit this cafe again.

The Wineglass is one of the region's best food & wine experiences. We offer local, regional cooking at its best and an extensive selection of Mudgee wines to pair perfectly with meals. "We change our menu regularly" says owner and chef Scott Tracey. Featuring a seasonal menu, inspired by the regions local produce.
Four of us dined here on a Saturday evening.
Four different meals ordered and all of varying quality
My steak was well cooked but the accompanying salad consisted of a small bowl of soft green leaves which looked as though they had come from the nearby supermarket- no other salad vegetables and no dressing - not impressive.
My wife’s salmon was dry and poorly presented.
Very disappointing 2 out of four meals. Price is city level.
Won’t hurry back

Not to many places you can have good service with a welcoming smile and feel like a local. The cuisine selection was fantastic and if you like coffee this was nice too. So if you are in the neighborhood, drop in. You won't be disappointed.

Nice cheese plate and moderately priced. Nice estate with a lovely looking pond. Would be a great place for a wedding. Shame we couldn’t get a pizza early in the week as we’ve heard good things.

Eltons eating + drinking provides some of the best food + beverage options that Mudgee has to offer, served at the table in a relaxed but efficient fashion. Craft beers are a specialty & you will find some of the best from around the country on our ice cold taps, but don't get too familiar with them because chances are that on your next visit the line up will look very different. Eltons food offering is based upon a shared dining experience with plenty of variety available on the menu. There are some more substantial meals available if you wish to dine in a more traditional fashion. All this is enjoyed in the renovated Eltons pharmacy building. We hope that you enjoy Eltons Eating + Drinking.
A quaint building and as well as indoor dining, street side tables are ideal for relaxed dining in fine and warm weather. We went for dinner on a weeknight. Moderately busy but friendly and efficient service throughout. Can either share or have individual courses. We chose sharing 4 small plates and a taco which provided plenty of varied presentation and flavours. Ok beer and wine selection. Enjoyed and would return.

The Lawson Park Hotel, Mudgee. Home of the Award Winning famous Red Heifer Bistro. A Classic Aussie Pub, with Charming Country Hospitality and Service… Since the 1860’s
Inviting pub atmosphere - plenty of Seating options - inside & out - varied menu with specials. Lots of patrons - usually a reasonable indication of a good bistro meal. Soft-drinks from the bar expensive. Large steak Sandwich satisfied, but sadly salt & pepper squid was rubbery and chewy with fries very oily - side salad was the best bit! Not enjoyable - really disappointing. :-(
