This was the only option available on trip advisor for Bak kut Teh around Muar. It was easy to find and not crowded. So service was fast.
There were 5 adults and 1 child. We ordered Bak kut Teh, stir fried vege and additional bowl of 'spare parts'! The soup was very tasty.
But the biggest shock we had was the bill! Only RM49.50!
Absolutely worth it. Would go again when we visit Muar next!
Btw note that they open for dinner only...

We were driving to find the Giant supermarket here in Muar. And we came across Arab Curry House. Instant service. Friendly. Ample car parking. I had Cheese prata. Nice. Better was the Ginger Milk. I will come again.

This restaurant is about 15 km travelling from Jalan Abdul Rahman, Muar travelling down South on the way to the small town of Parit Jawa. It is not too far from the sea (Straits of Malacca) They cater specially Asam Pedas fish plus other spicy food such as sambal prawns and vegetables. The price is very reasonable. Normally A dish of Asam pedaa with a fish of 500g plus vegetables and rice for four would cost RM25. Parking by the side and by the river is very easy with lots of parking lots.

We had a really good breakfast there. Ordered coffee, toast and eggs, nasi alamak, mee Siam etc... food was really awesome and my family really enjoyed. However, orders were taken slow, in fact took us some time to get attention from the staffs. Note that there were more staffs than customers during our visit so I don't see why we had to struggle to get attention. Food orders were served slow by confused staffs. Food is excellent but service needs to be improved by miles.

Going there for a lunch, peak hour but the staff serve very fast. No need to wait for along time.
Have original taste of muar asam pedas.
The price also consider cheap depend on the fish type.
This shop still have an original kampung style stall.
Enjoyed eating there.

Had been tasted Muar's famous otak-otak from difference recipes. Managed to found one hidden otak manufacturer behind the popular Bentayan food court. Surprisingly this manufacturer had been more than decade in this business. They had varies of products of otak-otak. Important is their recipes. It has fresh taste of mackerel paste with nice fragrance of coconut milk and spicy chilies species.

I must compliment the owner for adding the fresh water prawn into mee Bandung. Its certainly an innovative way to gave a 'wow factor' to this truly wellknown Muar dishes. However the dish need to be as authentic as possible, especially when it is tagged as 'special'. Service is good and spot on. Nice and clean environment.

This shop serves the best yam basket :)
Fried bee hoon with crab is something to die for !
Other dishes worth trying: clay pot noodles with fresh prawns , fried spring roles, stir fried pork liver.....
But be prepared to wait for at least 30-45 minutes for the dishes to reach your table. Also the shop will be full of crowd by 7pm ... Do reach there early ( opens from 6 pm)

I am very impressed with this little cafe in Muar. The decor is simple and yet very classy. This cafe serves very nice food and drinks too. Staffs are very friendly and the whole establishment is extremely well kept. The only set back is that parking can be quite a challenge.
