Outstanding cellared wines, innovative cuisine, thoroughly professional service - as one of Auckland's favourite local restaurants, One Tree Grill offers a complete dining experience.
It was one of those very rare occasions that we get to Auckland...Ahhhh "The Traffic"....anyway, we did what we had to do while down there and then decided we would meet my Niece for lunch. This was the perfect choice.....great views, great food and good company. The staff were very warm and friendly and the meals we had were very tasty. We will definitely go there again the next time we "HAVE" to go to Auckland....lol.

Auckland's taste sensation in a warm cosy atmosphere with great service. Whether for a romantic dinner or lunch, a catch up with friends or family or for business entertainment, we can cater for your needs. With Seating capacity maxing out at around 40 to 50 (depending on Seating arrangements), it is advisable to make a telephone reservation. The restaurant also offers great wines, cocktails, beers and a nice selection of teas. Open 7 nights (closed public holidays)
Focus was on service and was geared toward getting ratings... food was so-so at best. The portions are large, overly sauced and lean on the meat portions. Not sure what you meant by "service geared towards ratings"? I notice you've never rated another restaurant so I'm not sure what you are comparing us to. What meals did you have? Regards.

I only gave this three stars as the corn was ice cold, obviously in a hurry to good it. The chicken was fabulous and the food come out very quickly. They were very busy but tried to keep up with the table clearing but always a number with dirty dishes for a while.

Located in the Sylvia Park Shopping Centre, we ate lunch with good friends. It's a pub style eatery, but plenty of Seating, great menu selection, actually, there was so much choice, we had to ask the waitress twice to give us some extra time to choose. Good drinks selection to, with craft beers available.

We are a unique European Japanese fusion fine dining in Auckland.
Best meal of my life. Each bite, of each course. Each flavor. Every morsel. The myriad textures. The complementary pairings. The mood, the vibe, the humility. This experience is simply better than any other. Better than Per Se, Daniel, Charlie Trotter (RIP), Taillevent, 11 Mad Park, SingleThread (my favorite new spot) and my prior favorite, closing night of the original Bouley (in 1996).
Go to Auckland just for this meal.

After Reading several positive reviews I thought this would be a great place to take family visiting from overseas for dinner. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants over the last 30 years so I am familiar with this cuisine. The food was OK though I have had a lot better. Our guests also thought it was rather expensive for the quality. The staff were busy putting up xmas decorations which I found rather off putting while we were eating.Would not come back again.

Being in the shopping complex its quite handy and set out like any other franchised shop. Easy going staff and the coffee is very good . enjoyed the quick drop in and take away . worth your time.

Congratulations Speight's excellent Pub with great food This was a late venue choice and it turned into a winner. Fantastic selection of beers (including IPA choices) Friendly and helpful staff and brilliant food to a higher level than usually found in pubs.

My first meal here was pad Thai noodles. Omg finally authentic not the mild westernised version.
Delicious. Fantastic.
I went back the next day for a red curry. Again was so flavoursome .
Service fabulous. Friendly helpful and super efficient.
Highly recommend a visit. Or two!!
I will be back often and love that there is home Delivery.
Don't miss it.

An excellent restaurant/cafe and I have visited hundreds of times over the years under three different managements. Food is almost always excellent but today one dish was not so good. We had the fish burgers (with good chips.) There were three pieces of battered fish on a ciabatta bun with mayo, tomato and salad greens. All was good except the fish batter and that was very bland and oily. They had a bad day for some reason and I passed that on to the Chef. Otherwise it is a highly recommended cafe. Just wish they would bring back their awesome warm beef salad onto the menu.
