We were staying in the area and came upon the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and great service. The food was great. I had the fried maters.(tomatoes for those not use to country talk) They were good!! I had the chicken liver dinner and they were fixed very well. Over a good eating experience!!

We had planned on dining at The Lodge Restaurant, which was right across the street from Renfro Valley. The day before we look on Renfro Valley website and the menu, etc was posted (it now is not). How disappointing to find when we get there, that it was closed. We were told there was a "restaurant" in the Renfro Valley complex. Being the only option, we decided to eat here. Bad choice. You place your order at the counter. Your choices are limited to burgers, chicken or tenderloin sandwiches, hot dogs and a few other sandwiches. With this you get criss-cross fries. You can add slaw or a side salad. The burger and tenderloin were okay. The fries tasted like they had been fried in 100-day old oil. The slaw was good. The side salad consisted of three bites of lettuce, 3 halves of withered cherry tomatoes and 2 frozen slices of cucumber. It should have never been considered a salad. Going to Renfro Valley? Have dinner before you go. This was terrible.

Our family eats here occasionally and the food is always good and the service friendly. Their food is like home-cooked food with a decent selection on the menu. The only negative I can give is they need a better dessert selection.

Went to Renfro Valley for Trace Adkins concert and was going to eat at The Lodge Restaurant across the highway but it has closed down. Decided to eat at the restaurant on Lake Linville. It was a short scenic drive along the lake. This place sits right on the side of the lake with a porch you can sit on if you like. It is known mainly for the smoky bbq which they make right there. We had the fried catfish with fried okra and slaw. The slaw was great and was serviced first. Then came the catfish and okra! The meal was great and plentiful. Price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

There are very few restaurants near Renfro Valley to eat. The restaurant at Renfro Valley has been closed for a while. We love the food at the Truck Stop and the price is right. The only problem is can be smokey. The restaurants by us do not allow smoking. A lot of the country restaurants allow smoking. The smoking does not stop us from going because depending on how crowded the restaurant is before a show the service is always very good and we love the food. We like the location for it is just off I 75 a short distance on the highway to Renfro Valley. I feel because of lack of restaurants near Renfro Valley, they are picking up more customers going to the show. We have met different customers returning to eat because they did not know the restaurant at Renfro is closed.

New place and it's really good. I like the soft chicken taco. My wife gets the carnitas especial. Great service.

This restaurant is located right off the interstate, back behind an older hotel. The entire area wasn't much to look at, but several cars were out front. I ordered the Chili Relleno, taco, beans and guacamole salad for the amazing price of $5.75. The food came hot and expertly prepared. The waitress's left a little to be desired in their attentiveness, but I can live with that if the foods good.

We were driving today March 27 along Interstate 75 on our way to our home in Ontario and we decided to stop at this restaurant because it was close to the exit 62 and we also wanted to try Arby's new Ruben sandwich that we have seen advertised everywhere. Well we certainly were not disappointed. This sandwich is delicious and pilled high with corn beef and sauerkraut and we each bought one but only ate each a half and saved the other half for later on. Half was plenty so this is really a share sandwich. Places likes this only prove that you can eat well at a fast food establishment if you want to give it a try.

This is a very busy Wendys but is run very efficiently. Very clean and very responsive to input. They are also very good for helping community groups and fundraising.
