Moulton is a city in Lawrence County, Alabama, United States and is included in the Decatur Metropolitan Area, as well as the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. Although it incorporated in 1819, along with its rival of Courtland, to compete for the honor of county seat, it did not first appear on the U.S. Census rolls until 1900. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city is 3,471, its record high. The city has been the county seat of Lawrence County since 1820. It has been the largest community in the county since the 1920 U.S. Census.

Western Sirloin is the most popular restaurant in the small town of Moulton. The restaurant is rustic with a western feel. They have a fantastic salad bar that they keep fresh and replenished. I ordered the whole catfish which was great. My husband loved his medium rare sirloin but my son's chicken tenders weren't that good. Overall, we had a good experience and I recommend this down home restaurant.

The greeting; Good morning, welcome to Strawberry Donuts, was enveloped by the fragrances of sausage, bacon, ham and sweet, sweet fritters, donuts and croissants. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was fast. The food was awesome. Take family and friends; it's awesome.

They have the best milkshakes you could ever have. If you like chocolate you will love their chocolate milkshake. They also have a great chicken dinner it's alot of food you will not leave hungry. If your ever in the small town of moulton you got to stop by and get you a milkshake.

My husband and I were driving home from North Alabama and noticed the restaurant attached to the stockyard and decided to give it a try. I ordered the hamburger steak and added the salad bar to my meal. The salad bar was nice and fresh and had numerous ingredients to add to your salad. (My only criticism is the lack of blue cheese dressing). My hamburger steak was cooked just right and had a really good flavor to it. All in all, the meal was good and service was also. If you are in this area, you might give this place a try!

Please tell me those were NOT bacos in my salad! Your pork card is revoked! Seriously, don't do that. The chicken on the salad was a bit dry. The sides were served in the same size cup as salad dressing-just skip them or buy large. The whole chicken, howevr, was excellent!

Four guys journeyed on motorcycles looking for famous fried pies.
Not only did we find them, we found excellent food in a beautifully decorated restaurant . The outside is sort of misleading, but once you walk inside you are greeted with friendly people in a cool setting.
3 of us got the Strawberry Fields salad and one got the Philly Cheese Steak.
The salads came with fresh ingredients from the Farmers market and the steak was made from Choice beef Both were awesome. Our fried pies were ordered with our meal order as they take 16 minutes to cook.
I had the German Chocolate with vanilla ice cream and it was to die for.
My friends got the pecan and strawberry and were equally pleased.
The owner, Art, sat with us for a while and while this restaurant is new, he has years of experience in the business (and it shows). He doesn't cut corners. It's all about quality here. Even the coffee was premium.
We will be back with our wives next time.

I drive 45 minutes just to get these burgers. Best Burger around. The staff is friendly it is just a hometown place where everyone is nice and speaks to you when you walk in the door. The food is great the prices are reasonable and I will recommend this little place to everyone that drives down 157 thru Moulton take a quick detour thru town and grab some burgers to go.

Our very favorite Mexican Restaurant! Good ratings, clean , food is usually very good. Cesar, the owner is very friendly. As are the servers. Most have worked there for years. Not had any selection I didn't care for. This place has been Americanized. To suit the taste of its customers.

We enjoyed our lunch at Guthries - good value meal of chicken fingers and wings. We went on a Sunday ... which meant very crowded time, but we still got our food quickly. The poor girls seemed a little overworked, but smiled and were pleasant anyway.
