I am sorry, but there is not much positive to say.
The place takes you back to the eighties, it takes forever before you get served, and you get som strange salad..(wich you probably haven`t ordered)
My Calzone was burned, and with the horrible prices, this was the last time for me.

We were 5 people who visited this place, nice environment but that was all.
We had to call for the waitress every time we wanted something, they did not see when we were finished, just running past us...and other customers every time.
the food was no winner, the salat was not fresh and the meat tasted nothing.
The prices are horrible.
in my opinion, when you eat for 2000,- NOK, you should get the cofee for free.
We wanted a cup of cofee after we had payed (one cup)
And for this they wanted 26,- NOK
That`s ok, but lukewarm from a cofeemaker?
Never again....it`s a lot of better places to eat in Moss

The most elegant restaurant in the area. Restaurant Munch is located in the main building built in 1767, and several of the old master’s works adorn the walls in the restaurant. The restaurant has a French-inspired cuisine based on the best Norwegian and international raw materials. A fully stocked wine cellar can also be rented for smaller parties. The building faces west with a magnificent view of the fjord. Outdoor service during the summer. Big pavillion in the garden, perfect for barbecues and summer parties.
Upon arrival seven thirty, reception was friendly, but somewhat unfocused. Then the waitress disappeared for ten minutes and she and her colleague was generally hard to get hold of throughout the evening. We were offered nothing in the way of water or aperitif but left to ourselves. Eventually, the waitress reappeared with the menu that basically contained the seven course meal of the day (that could be scaled down to two dishes). The menu came with a wine pairing that wasn't to impressive, hence we asked for the wine list. Another wait. When it eventually materialized the main impression was pricey, indeed very pricey. Not due to the rather comprehensive list of claret (they are proud of their wine cellar), but rather due to what they charge for the less expensive ones. We ended up ordering four courses to start with, telling the waitress that we might want to order cheeses and desserts, if we did not feel to full towards the end of the meal. When the fourth and final dish arrived a little past ten thirty - that is three hours later - we were not in the mood for additional fare. We ordered a bottle of riesling from Trimbach, symptomatically this had not yet manifested itself when the first course arrived. When it finally did arrive, it must have come straight out of the kitchen as the temperature was easily the same if not above that of the dining room. The first dish was passed of as asparagus served with verjus but the few pieces of green asparagus (that if added together probably would have made up one small specimen) disappeared in a rather messy presentation where volumewise the bulk of the dish was made up of a mousse of chèvre, salad, red beets and various other ingredients. While the dish was okay, it was not quite what the menu had announced. And this set the tone for the rest of the meal. Let me just add that the sole was replace by halibut (overcooked). The main course, the veal, was OK, though. Strangely enough, these people, that pride themselves on their wine cellar, and whose wine list contain a number of wines that sell for five digits, were not able to provide us with proper burgundy glasses even though we tried to insist. In the end, it took us a while to get the check, but not as long as it did the couple across the room that eventually gave up, got up and left. In conclusion, unless one happens to be staying at the hotel, there is little reason to visit the restaurant (and be prepared for a wait).

Just had a dinner in China Garden after spending overnight in Moss. The restaurant is cosy and the food is simple. The food is similar like any other chinese restaurant in Norway as I have been to a few in olso. The waitress is friendly. Will go back there again as it is not that pricey compare to chinese restaurant in oslo.

The combination of old and new lends a distinctive style and unique atmosphere to Café Riis. We serve light, ecxiting lunches and delicious homemade cakes. Tuesday through Saturday we are open in the evening. We offer soft light, a fully licensed bar and our kitchen is open until 22.00 (Saturday to 20.00)! During the summer we also offer a sunny outdoor café. Welcome to one of the best cafés in town.
Free wifi and exotic menu - puffin breast and whale meat. We had the cheeseburger though. Nice cosy ambience. Easy to locate. Two thumbs up.

Arrived just before closing time but was welcomed and since no English menu was available, had the menu patiently explained to me. I opted for a mix of everything, which arrived promptly.
Everything was delicious and of a high quality. Very good value in these parts even if it was not a true restaurant experience.

Located in a beautiful coastal area, well suited for walks, swimming, picknicks etc, Alby Kafe F15 is a cozy, little café. They have both warm and cold dishes, salads, desserts, pastries, ice cream, in addition to vegetarian and gluten free options (they had their own gluten free menu). You can eat inside, or enjoy the beautiful costal scenery from a table outside. Great place for lunch after a walk at the "Kyststi". There's also free wi-fi.

A good selection of cakes and hot and cold savoury dishes, all home cooked and well presented.
Hot soup is also available for you to serve yourself.
The portions were huge and the coffee was good as was the service.
The interior was pleasant and clean. We sat inside as there was a bitterly cold wind but many hardy Norwegians were sitting outside with complimentary blankets over knees or around shoulders.

Modern retro coffee bar open daily. Quite possibly the best coffee in town. We have good sandwiches, croissants and home baked cakes. Sale of fresh bread every day for your enjoyment at home!
This is a small very local place with a great view of the water and all the fair boats coming and going. The rolls and coffee were good, no problems with the food. however like many places in Norway they only take Norwegian cash and Norwegian Credit cards. At the rail station is a ATM about 2 k a ways short walk.

Come to Moss for a kebab or a pizza! Pizzeria Campino was declared Norway’s best kebab. We only use fresh quality products. Treat yourself to a tasty meal!
This is a rather tacky fast food joint, and not a place you visit for a nice dinner out. But they are extremely busy, and that's because they make great tasting kebabs and pizzas. We never eat in but often get Takeout, try the kebab roll or the kebab pizza. Their food is also very popular amongst people on their way home from a night out, as it is located next to the taxi station.
