Welcome to New Jersey's Legendary Steak House Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille, an area landmark and winner of New Jersey Monthly's 'Best Steakhouse' award, offers lunch and dinner daily as well as the finest Sunday Brunch in New Jersey. The restaurant's new design, rich wood paneling and highly polished brass, lends a classic elegance to the sophisticated atmosphere. For an intimate and unique experience, dinner aboard the private Parlour Cars is sure to be remembered. Formerly the private domain of the rich and famous, these beautifully refurbished, turn of the century railway cars are exquisitely complimented by the haute cuisine of Rod's esteemed Executive Chef.
Our family gathering of eight went to Rod's for Sunday brunch, and it was an enjoyable experience. The old-school elegance of the room contributes to the feeling of dining in style. The service was excellent, both attentive and friendly. The food offered is several notches above the ordinary brunches available in the area. Included is an omelette station, a carving station, and a very large selection of salads (including seafood) and cheeses of all types. The dessert table with cakes, pastries, and fruit is varied and delicious. At $30 a head, it isn't inexpensive, but neither is it outrageous. We all agreed it is well worth returning.

My husband and I was actually looking for somewhere different to dine at on Saturday night. We googled restaurants and found Hibiscus. I am a lover of everything Caribbean so when we found this place I was very excited.
They opened at 5:30 and we arrived at exactly 5:30. We were greeted by the waitress and seated right away. It is such a cute little restaurant perfect for date night. The restaurant is in the basement of the Best Western hotel. I liked the live entertainment and the Caribbean decor and music. This is a byob but they serve a non alcoholic drink called Sorrel and a homemade fruit juice. We ordered the Calamari Caribbean style for apps which was very delicious. They bring you out homemade festival which is a Caribbean sweet bread. It was actually the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the oxtails for his main course and I ordered the jerk Chicken dish. My husband said it was very delicious but the portion was not filing as you only get 3 oxtails. The Jerk chicken dish was good and enough for me. it came with rice and peas vegetable and plantains. I had the rum bread pudding which was a really delicious treat.
They do have private parties and catering. I am considering having a private function. I met the owner Karlene who showed me around and gave me the information about the private event. I'm glad we found this hidden Gem in Morristown.

south+pine is a seasonal American restaurant that has become a staple in the Morristown community.
Wow. Delicious. Friendly staff. Awesome and healthy food. Attention to detail. Waiter actually saw our table uneven and tipping. He came by to fix it on his own. That was a first. Dinner menu even looks better. If possible. I’m returning.

The snow was coming down; 2-4 inches an hour predicted soon; and restaurants were closing early throughout the area. The Committed Pig was committed to serving us and the snowplow workers and others who crowded in!
Although slammed, the staff was cheerful, prompt, good humored, and personable. About as good as it gets in those conditions.
The food was great. Comfort food for a snowy day--burgers in very exotic forms; breakfast foods (the french toast was superb); and just some unique dishes.
Excellent -- HEY GUYS THANKS FOR TAKING US IN!!

We were a party of 7 and ordered - 2 cowboy rib eye steaks , a prime rib, 3 of the special order filets which we were told were tender highly marbilized and were $52 each, and 1 seabass fish... The 2 rib eyes were sent back immediately as they were terribly burnt although ordered medium. We wanted to send back the $52 prime filets as they were very tough but we were too embarrassed to ask after already sending back 2 steaks already...the fish was excellent but overall experience was poor considering this is a steak house..

The exotic tastes and dazzling presentations ensures your dining experience will be truly memorable.
Was here for a holiday dinner party with approx 20 others. Set menu with four or five dinner entree options. Appetizers were great. Crab cakes, duck quesadillas, and baked Brie with some sort of crumb topping. Dinner was NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. It was very good. The dessert sampler that they put out was very tasty. All in all a very good meal.

..it was definitely the highlight of my meal. Warning - its big, a bit bigger than a small pizza - good for two to share as an app. I had the lamb burger, which was prepared as I asked, but really was a bit small, overwhelmed by the bun. I would rate it average at best. But the flatbread, good service, and nice draught beer selection carry them to 4 stars.

We wanted to try this restaurant fir quite some time and were finally able to go on a Sat night. We split a kebab and stew and started with an eggplant appetizer. The meal was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. It is a byob and we brought a bottle of red which went well with our food. I'm looking forward to going back.

We like to come to Blue Morel. My husband used it as their luncheon venue once a month. I like to stay at the bar area to eat. Menu is the same. Oysters were good, sushi and of course my fave the crab cakes! The burger is very good too. Bar drinks are innovative and good. Must try this restaurant, it is true, hotel restsurant does not have good food as we always say but this one you could be fancy or comfort food, they are good!

We are a Morristown's full service family restaurant and sports bar, located "off the green" in downtown Morristown, NJ.
We picked this place for dinner based on location, reviews, and menu. It did not disappoint. We visited on a Saturday night. I ordered from the specials menu, and my companion from the regular menu. Both dishes were very good. The server recommended a dessert based on our preference for gluten-friendly, and it too was delicious. Even the coffee was good (and I am a coffee snob). Service was prompt and friendly. There are other menu items we want to try so we hope to get back some time soon.
