Driving through the Tetons in late September, we were looking for a place for lunch. Dornan’s was recommended and certainly fit the bill. We found it surprisingly busy for that time of year, but the menu was quite diverse and the service was very friendly. While we had to ask about how to place our order at the kitchen in the back, the meal, along with the view, provided the needed renewal for the rest of the day. We would certainly return.

My wife and I stopped in Kelly, a tiny village just outside Jackson Hole for coffee, after hearing good things. They were right! Best coffee in the Jackson Hole area. Later we came back for lunch as their home made sandwiches looked interesting. Again, blown away by the quality! Only downside is that the place closes for Winter when the owner goes skiing....but otherwise a very strong recommendation.

You will not be disappointed with the view or the food. Dining outside overlooking the Snake River and Teton Range was a delightful experience in August. The food and the drinks were very enjoyable. You will probably end up spending more time there than you planned. Don't miss this relaxing place!

Spur Restaurant and Bar at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa is located in the heart of Teton Village, inside the Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. Executive Chef Kevin Humphreys has created a mouthwatering menu of creative dinner favorites at Spur such as Smoked Pheasant Raviolis, Corn Crusted Idaho Trout, Zonker Stout Braised Buffalo Short Ribs, and Chickpea & Goat Cheese Polenta Cakes, in addition to daily specials. All menu selections are complimented with regionally produced organic produce and creative interpretations of classic favorites. Our restaurant is a fire-lit, inviting space to relax and enjoy great food, served by friendly, professional staff. In the summertime, enjoy our scenic patio that overlooks the surrounding area.
Spur Restaurant is in a hotel very near the base of the main Jackson hols skiing area. It was crowded and we had a late 8:30 pm reservation for 8 people. We were seated at a nice table and I loved the food here but...MoreRick, Thank you and your group for having a birthday celebration dinner at Spur. We are very happy to know everyone enjoyed dinner especially the Porcini Dusted Steelhead. We hope you will make it back again soon for another celebration! Cheers, Stacy

One of the best DINNER options in Jackson Hole? We think so! Since joining the Mangy Moose in May 2015, Executive Chef, Seth Nelson has created a really great menu using locally sourced meat and game, (grass fed, no hormones or antibiotics), delicious appetizers and desserts. (Try the "Jackson Hole" - warm, house-made doughnut hole with vanilla ice cream and huckleberry sauce.) Our General Manager, Ari Borshell has been with us since 1991 and he and the Moose team will do everything possible to make sure you have a great experience at the Mangy Moose. When you visit us, you will find friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food for the entire family. BREAKFAST options include eggs through yogurt items. A delicious selection of salads, San which espouses and burgers are on our lunch menu. Also, hand tossed pizza is available on our Saloon menu. We have a GROCERY store and WINE shop, (over 325 labels), GIFT SHOPS and LIVE MUSIC on our stage. We are very proud that since 1967 the Mangy Moose continues to be such a popular destination.
We were in Teton Village in late January, and ate at both the restaurant and the bar. Both were very good--try the buffalo meatloaf. In the restaurant, we could see the staff making pizzas from where we were dining. But inexplicably, one cannot order a pizza in the restaurant. One of our group wanted a pizza, so had to leave the restaurant and go over to the bar. It makes absolutely no sense that the restaurant exhibits the pizza-making area but will not let people order one.

This collection of shops and restaurants, towards the southern end of the Grand Tetons, is a wonderful collection of places to eat and places to buy everything that you might need. The Chuckwagon is mostly outside and the view of the mountains is wonderful. The food is good and the service is good as well. I'm not sure anything rises to the point of great, but it's good and I wouldn't mind going back.

We enjoyed breakfast here every day there is a very impressive buffet $38+ service and taxes, or you can order from an A La Carte Menu. Coffee is also good (Lavazza) which you don’t often get in the US. Dinner was also excellent. The restaurant...MoreThank you for your review, mdavies212. We stopped here after our rafting trip on the Snake River. We both got their deli sandwiches and some chips and they hit the spot. We also enjoyed shopping the general store.

Get a seat outside early! Part of the four seasons resort in Teton village...so you know it’s going to be expensive!! $16 for a Jackson Mule. $9 for Snake River Pako IPA cans. DJ shows up on Saturday. Apparently everybody has seen a moose in Jackson except me. Right across from the easy Sweetwater and Teewinot lifts.
